If you're coming to Hawaii for a beautiful, sandy, uncrowded beach where you can swim and snorkel just steps from the building, this is it!
Wake to the sound of surf, and enjoy juice and coffee on your private lanai. Take a morning stroll along beautiful Turtle Cove. You are more likely to meet local families enjoying the beach here than tourists. Located on the sunny leeward side of the island, the Hawaiian Princess is a mix of residential and vacation rental units.
Just 40 minutes from the airport and worlds away from the hustle of Waikiki. Snorkel, swim, or just lie on the beach just steps away from the building. Enjoy watching turtles, dolphins, and even the occasional whale right from your lanai on the 13th floor.
This nonsmoking condo has everything you need to relax and enjoy paradise. Recently refurbished, this condo is top quality throughout. Bedroom has a comfy, queen-size bed, and there is a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room.
Kitchen has new appliances and is stocked with everything you need (except food) for a quick breakfast or a romantic dinner on your private lanai. The view from the lanai is better than the view at most restaurants. This condo is fully-equipped with the comforts of home. Just bring your bathing suit and toothbrush!
Deposits and Cancellations: 50% deposit required within seven days of making the reservation. Balance due 30 days before arrival.
All cancellations are subject to a $50 administration charge. If cancelled 45 days or more before arrival, full refund, less $50 administration charge. If cancelled 44 days or less before arrival, no refund unless the unit is rebooked. We will attempt to rebook the unit. Check in is 3:00 PM and check out is 10:00 AM.

Why the Owner Chose Makaha
The beach is drop-dead gorgeous. It's quiet and far from the madding crowds, yet we get to enjoy all the amenities of small-town Hawaii. From our first day, when we first stepped onto what would become "our beach," we felt right at home here.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
We love that we can go down the elevator, step onto the beach, put on our snorkel and fins, get in the water and snorkel.
We also like to explore Honolulu, a vibrant, international city with a wide variety of theaters, parks, restaurants, and neighborhoods. Take in a local theater production, or wander off the beaten path.
Owner's Map of Makaha
We love Hawaii, and especially love the slower pace of Makaha. When we retire, they hope to make their home in the area--at least for the winter months.
We like to travel, and are open to trading a week or so in our condo for accommodations in other places.
We currently in the Seattle area. Jim is a facilities manager in a downtown Seattle condominium building, and Kim is a technical writer. Our kids are grown and live in nearby towns.

It is not unusual for us to receive notes from our previous guests to tell us how much they liked staying in our place, but this one seemed to capture the essence of what it's like to stay "far from the madding crowd." The following is from some guests who recently stayed in our condo: Aloha Jim and Kim, We had a great vacation and your condo was a major reason for it. It was so wonderful to be able to come back from the chaos that was Waikiki and other people packed touristy areas to the serenity of your condo. If downtown Honolulu was were we stayed, we would not be going back to Hawaii ever again. That certainly is not what you see on the postcards! But to sit out on the lanai and eat breakfast and watch the turtles and dolphins swimming out in the ocean, and to look down and see only a couple of people on the beach and not thousands, now that's my idea of a vacation in paradise!
