This rental apartment was very clean and exactly as described on the VRBO website. We found the property to be very safe even when using the beach, even during dusk hours. Air conditioning was amazing and a life saver on the hot/humid days ! The grocery store was in walking distance and we loved that we could make our own meals. The owners of this property were very responses to the few questions we had during the course of our stay. We would def stay here again and recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a spot close to the beach and hotels. With regards to the nightlife, I would recommend any of the hotels down the block. We have dinner and drinks, each were amazing for couples looking for a nice evening out. Thanks again, Robyn and Paul

I stayed with my wife, mother and sister. The place was awesome. We are going again in January. Frank is the man and will take care of anyone that stays in one of his units. I highly recommend staying at the Marbella, 24 hour doorman, 4 elevators, nice pool, beachfront, rooms have boogy boards and beach chairs. The condo is 2 minute walk to every casino, bar, restaurant and grocery store. Plus central ac and fully stocked kitchen to make breakfast or dinner if you please.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Perfect Location Perfect Condo Perfect Vacation!

My husband and I came to Puerto Rico to celebrate my 40th birthday and this was our best vacation yet! This condo was perfect for the two of us, it was clean, spacious, comfortable, safe and had all of the essentials necessary for a wonderful beach getaway. Franklin is great owner to rent from, whenever we needed anything he made sure we got it, he was very friendly and his property is well maintained. Although the balcony opens to main boulevard, we loved it, we actually felt like we were partying with the people on the streets! The beach is right out of the back door of the building, literally. This is the most beautiful beach I have seen, the condo even had beach chairs, towels, boogie boards and beach toys, I couldn't have asked for a better location to celebrate becoming Fab 40!

Property was well equipped, clean, and walking distance to about anything you wanted (beach, restaurants, casinos, shopping). The only problem we had was that the noise from the Night Club across the street kept us awake all night (But we are old - might be great for younger "party animals"). This owner also has a unit on the beach side of the property, that might have been better suited for older people like us,

It was my boyfriend and I first time visit to Puerto Rico and we couldn't have asked for a better trip, and location choice. Franklin and Gretchen are great people and the condo is absolutely lovely! The living room is much bigger than pictured, and the entire apartment was spick and span clean! Wi-fi use was great, plenty of cable channels in English and Spanish. Though we didn't run into many ppl living in the building, whoever we did encounter were very friendly, and the security guards for the building were just as friendly, and even helped us with driving directions and good restaurant recommendations for local Puerto Rican food. The view from the apartment is street-side, and very nice to look out during the night. The beach is directly behind the building, so its a nice simple walk from the condo, down the elevator, through the back exit and past the swimming pool. Everything is in walking distance so a car isn't needed, but is definitely helpful if you plan to visit El Yunque rainforest. Otherwise, we walked to dinner, breakfast, souvenir stores, and casinos. My boyfriend and I were overly impressed with the overall experience in Puerto Rico, and the professionalism, yet relaxed relationship with Gretchen and Franklin. They don't bother you throughout your entire stay, and are only a phone call away if you need any assistance. I'd highly recommend staying here to family, friends, and anyone looking for an affordable place to stay! My boyfriend and I definitely plan to stay here again the next time we travel to Puerto Rico.

Staying at this condo was a pleasure. The place was well kept and location was great. Gretchen and Franklin treated us like family coming to visit. If your planing a trip to Puerto Rico this is a good place to stay, the pool and beach are feet away from the condo.Thank You for having us. God Bless You both.

My stay in Isla Verde was wonderful. Whenever I come back to Puerto Rico I will always stay here. The owners were friendly and helpful I couldn't ask for a better vacation. Any questions or concerns I were handled promptly and with great accuracy.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this apartment. the place is well maintained. everything you need in a kitchen is there. the bed is cozy. The location is great. the sushi place right in front, make some of the best suchi i hace ever tasted. and the shrimp fried rice is delicious too. there is a very convinient CVS right in front that is open 24hrs. And i'd like to also place a special thank you to Gretchen and frank (the owners), very attentive and always there when you need them. my flight got delayed and we ended up getting to the apartment at about 130am and Frank met us there and showed us around the complex and the apartment. could not have been more satisfied. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this perfect condo for 4 nights, and we couldn't have been happier! The condo was an excellent size, super clean, and had everything you could need already stocked. It is right on one of the most beautiful beaches...you're sitting on it 5 minutes from the moment you walk out the apartment door. Gretchen was only a call or text away...which we only needed to get in touch with her once...but I could tell she would be more then helpful if anything came up. All in all, we had a great stay, in a big apartment, at a great price, on an amazing beach....couldn't be happier! I highly recommend this Isla Verde vacation rental to anyone considering staying in that area!

The condo was clean and well-maintained. It has all the home amenities needed. It has a great location - near the airport, next to the beach, and the other major hotels. It was safe place to stay. The owner was a text or call away for anything.

Second time in Puerto Rico and renting this property for 11 days worth every penny!!! My husband and I decided to go back for New Year's and it was the best decision ever! Property description was all accurate. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent location, many good restaurants just across the street, convenient stores(Walgreen's 24 hrs). The beach and surroundings are very secure to walk at night, only 10 mins from San Juan. The owner was very friendly, provided an excellent customer service. We definitively recommend this property for young couples looking for great places to eat and nightlife!! For next time we will prefer an ocean view property(the noise from the street was too much sometimes) but in the same condominium, we really liked the security, the environment and the beach.

I travel to Puerto Rico often with my family and I have to say staying in this apartment was a great idea. The building and grounds are well kept, the apartment looks exactly as it does in the pictures and you can't beat the location. The owner provided excellent customer service. There was not one thing to complain about, I would definitely recommend this apartment as well as check to see if this place is available when I visit Puerto Rico again.

This condo was rented by myself and a friend on September 2-6th 2011 for a last minute vacation. Upon arrival I noticed that the building was in a Great location with everything needed and desired within walking distance. The Condo was clean and appeared well kept. However, a few hours after arrival we noticed that there was no hot water and the shower wasnt functionable. Owner was immediately notified via email, since there had also been difficulty reaching her by phone. The owner arrived with a technician and declared the hot water would be restored the next morning. The owner also declared that if we'd stayed for the remaining days agreed upon there'd be a 100 dollar discount. The technician arrived and appeared to have repaired the hot water. Ten minutes after he left the hot water was still inoperable. Owner made aware (via email) and offered only her apologies. To make a bad situation worse, she never refunded the deposit, never gave a 100 dollar discount, AND she refuses to respond to my emails. Totally unprofessional and poor customer service. This property is definitely NOT recommended!!!!!!

Owner response: Hi, Im really sorry for your bad experience. That never happened before with other guests. The shower problem is already fixed. Regarding the 100 dollar discount that i gave you, i made the refund a couple of days after your check out. I hope you got it. If not let me know. Hope you are doing good. Sincerely,

I stood at this condo with my wife. Super close to the beach, great pool, and private/secure building. The owner was really great to us, any question or anything and she was willing to help us or direct us. She even offered to pick us up from the Air port when I had issues with my rental car. The location is super close to San Juan and has a local/tourist feel to it. I liked staying in the Condo because it felt like being at home, I’m not a big hotel person. My wife loved it as well. We also has a parking spot in the building grounds. The condo is maybe 10-15 minutes from the airport and the security guards are always around. We really enjoyed ourselves

Our stay was very relaxing yet still filled with lots of fun and adventure. This condo has all the comforts of home and then some. It was well maintained and very nicely furnished and decorated. Especially liked the close proximity to the beach, spending time in the pool and the BBQ area. If you like water sports this is the place to come to. From water skiing, wakeboarding, jet skiing to just relaxing on the boat this place has something for everyone. We have rented other condos in the Isla Verde area and throughout Puerto Rico and this is one of the Nicest....We will be coming back again next year!
