Frigate Bay condo description
Condo overlooks the Caribbean Sea and beaches of Frigate Bay with nothing to block the view. Private gazebo, and this is the only condo in the development with a path to the ocean. Private, detached laundry shed and gardens, 2 private parking places. Condo has studio bedroom with kitchenette and separate bedroom with trundle bed (single bed above, pull-out bed from below), suitable for couple plus one adult; or couple plus two younger children.
The Horizons Villas development is located on the Caribbean side of Frigate Bay (the ocean side of St. Kitts is generally too violent for swimming). It’s a 5-minute walk along the water (the beach in front is very 'stony' and is not for the un-athletic) or a short drive of less than 5 minutes to the best beach bars, restaurants and swimming in St. Kitts. Marshall’s restaurant, considered one of the top 5 restaurants on the Island, is located on the top level.
Although technically a “condo” located in the beautiful Horizons Villas development, there is no condominium association here, and therefore no condo rules to concern you. This will be your own private residence, similar to a villa, and how you choose to spend your time will not upset anyone. The condo is located at the very end of a road at the very bottom of the 3-level Resort development, and you have an un-restricted view of the sea to the south and west; total privacy from the rest of the development; and the only sounds you will hear are soft waves breaking on the shore and birds singing in the trees. If you want 'romantic,' this is it.
Unit comes with a six-pack of beer, six-pack of regular or diet coke, and a bottle of good rum.

Having decided to vacation in St Kitts for two weeks in the month of May 2013. We sat about obtaining suitable accommodation to meet our needs. From the various feedback we received, we decided on a location based on the information that Paul and Anna had forward to us. At this point we need to make the reader aware that Paul was very patient answering the numerous questions we asked of him. Not only were his responses speedy but very full, including more information than we had asked for, which was helpful. The instructions given to reach location from the airport was very clear and correct. The colour photographs which we received did not do justice to the accommodation, facilities and the stunning panoramic views from the location, even the rocky sea shore has it,s own beauty.(Readers please do not be put off by the rocky sea shore, there is a beach of golden sand with clear blue water and a range of facilities less than four minutes walk from the location). The information, support, guidance and assistance we received from Paul before and during, made our stay at the place and in St Kitts a very pleasant and a memroble one. One reads feedback from individual and or individuals about the places they have stayed and invariably one ask one self the question "Is this really true about the place, scenery, facilities and is the owner that helpful and forth coming with the information?. Well, we have visited and found the feedback which we have read to be consistent with what we experienced. So if you are thinking of spending some time in St Kitts and looking for a place to stay and a very helpful person. Don,t take our word for it, book some time at this accommodation and we are sure that you will come to the same conclusion we came to, that is, a Villa with excellent facilities, stunning panoramic views, a quite location with an accommodating, supportive and helpful person by the name of Paul. Paul and Anna thank you for allowing to stay at your villal and for making our stay in St Kitts so pleasant and memorable and when we are nex,t there if the accommodation is available, we would certainly like to book it.

Great time in St. Kitts
Great time in St. Kitts
We just returned from our visit to paradise!! We ended up going to St. Kitts because our daughter's boyfriend is in vet school there. We visited him on his break. I must say it is one of the best times we had. The owner of this condo Bill, was so helpful from beginning to end. We have never been to this area before and all the information he provided was accurate and very much appreciated. We highly recommend this rental to anyone. We stayed at the Buena Vista. It was just Great!!! We enjoyed the refreshments that welcomed us, and the priceless views. It is so peaceful and we felt so safe. It was so nice to be able to walk to the beach bars and also snorkle right in front of the condo. We saw alot of amazing fish!! My husband also enjoyed fishing off the rocks in the early morning. The location of the condo is great. Also, the rental price is very reasonable. Bill, thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your place and enjoy your piece of paradise. It was an unforgetable experience!!!

Best value on St Kitts
Best value on St Kitts
I just returned froma 10 night stay at Buena Vista, the middle condo. This place is awesome!! Incredible view from your condo day or night. If you do get a car be very careful. You are driving on the left side of the road, which is a little strange to big with, but the taxi drivers and other local's drive very fast and there are alot of pothole's and the round about's are very confusing. Our favorite beach by far was shipwreck beach. They supply beach chairs for a small charge and the food and drinks were very good. We also really liked Marshalls and Rock Lobster for a nice dinner. Do not try the french place, very misleading on pricing. Food was pretty good but way too expensive!! If you want to go to St. Kitts I would definatly recomend staying here. You will not find a better place or price!! Thanks for a great vacation!! Will come back again soon!!

My wife and I were visiting a friend who is attending the Vet school on the island. We stayed in Bougainvilla, the lower condo. Bill, the owner, had recommended it as being a little more private than the upstairs and I agree with that recommendation. If you're not going to use the extra bedroom for more than just storage then this is the way to go. You also have quick access to the Gazebo, which has a great view. When we arrived the internet was not working. I used another internet connection and contacted Bill via email. He gave me some ideas on how to get it going again and we did. We also let Bill know about a gate that wasn't closing and within a couple of days it was fixed. Throughout our stay Bill, the owner was very helpful and responsive in solving any problems we had . Finally, when we returned to the states we realized that my wife's phone was left in the condo. We contacted Bill and he contacted the condo manager. The phone was found and I will be receiving it soon. Thanks Bill! If you're going to St. Kitt's and want a little different experience than the totally touristy Marriott Resort I highly recommend this rental.

Owner response: Just as an explanation, there are two units, one on top of the other, both identical except that the spare bedroom in the lower unit (Bougainvillea) has no windows, being blocked off by the laundry shed, while the spare bedroom in the upper unit (Buena Vista) has two windows, one with a view of the water to the west. Bougainvillea is better suited to a couple who does not intend to use the spare bedroom consistently. If there are children, or more than two adults, Buena Vista would be a better choice. Many thanks, everyone, Bill
We had a wonderful stay at the middle villa with balcony. The owner provided great maps and information. The turn to this villa is the road after the one to Marshall's restaurant.. once turned you go downhill at the "V" to the end.. we did miss the turn first time. New villas are being built right at the turn but you will not hear any noise etc.. from this villa. The unit is a real bargain for St Kitts and perfect for a couple. The private gazebo is a real plus and walking the rocky shore path to the beach bars was not a problem. Great views and great location! We would stay there again. If you are a person that wants spa, pool etc.. you can easily buy a day or week pass to use the facilities at the nearby Marriott. We don't care about such so this is for info. only. The Marriott is located on Zen Way and there is a great coffee house, small grocery store etc.. also on this street along with several restaurants. We enjoyed those along with several beach bars/restaurants all of which had great food (Mr X's S Shack, Ragaes, Shipwreck etc..). The restaurants at the inland plantations were also very nice. Enjoy!

When you arrive at a place for the first time you never really know what to expect. We've traveled around the world and avoid hotels whenever we can, but we've found that photos and owner comments can be very deceiving. It was with great relief that we found everything to be exactly as described by the owner (who was more helpful and attentive than any owner we have encountered before) and others who have submitted comments. We found everything very neat, safe and clean. The view from the room really is spectacular. We awoke each morning to an incredible panorama of the Southeast Peninsula, Nevis peak in the background, and yachts anchored off Frigate Bay beach. It was so very nice and comfortable at the condo that we spent more time there than we thought we would. The gazebo is private, quiet, and right on the very edge of a cliff overlooking the harbour, and we used it every day. The condo is convenient to everything. My husband didn't mind swimming off the beach under the gazebo, even though it was quite rocky, but when I wanted to swim it was just a short walk along the water or quick drive to the Frigate Bay beach bar/restaurant area. Most important, I can confirm that this is the best deal for what you get. We spent some time while in St. Kitts checking out other places in view of returning to the island next year, but never found anything that came close to giving us what we had at the price we paid. We will be using it again. We found St. Kitts to be a real find, although certainly not "dirt cheap". Really cool beach bars (check out Shipwreck), very friendly people, very easy to drive around, and not at all like the many over-developed, honky-tonk islands you find elsewhere in the Caribbean. We had an A+ time and made many new friends we'll be seeing again. In fact, in our opinion St.Kitts is so perfect we are considering retiring there.

We enjoyed having a place that was conveniently located, yet quiet and private. The view towards Nevis was incredible! The private gazebo was such a nice treat to be able sit down there overlooking the ocean on those beautiful breezy evenings. There was not a time that we did not feel safe. I would recommend this place to anyone that was interested in staying on St. Kitts. The nice thing about the place is that it had everything that one needed to have a great stay. I would also like to add that it has the best toaster I have ever used! All the information that Bill provided us with was great and right on the money, especially all of the advice about the different beaches to go to and which places to eat. The one thing. that I would add is the beach bar called Jam Rock, a few places down from Shipwreck . It is a little pricey but the food was off the charts. I would like to thank Bill for all of his help before we even arrived. We will be back someday soon. Mark and Cat

Great place in St. Kitts
Great place in St. Kitts
My Wife and I recently spent 3 weeks in St.Kitts and stayed at this beautiful condo. The location was perfect. Walking distance to the restaurants and beach bars of Frigate Bay but far enough away to be private and away from all the hustle and bustle. The room had an amazing view from the porch of the Caribbean sea and the islands of St.Kitts and Nevis as well. There was a gazebo a few steps down a hill that offered even better views as well as a romantic private place to hang out and watch the sunset. The bathroom even had two sinks making it easy for my wife and I to get ready for a night out. The number code locks on the door and entry gate were also nice as we didn't have to worry about having a key and losing it! If your looking for a quaint, private, romantic place to stay at a reasonable price this is it. We look forward to coming back to St. Kitts and spending time here again.

Two Weeks in Paradise!
Two Weeks in Paradise!
What a wonderful 'home' to stay in while vacationing! Clean, well equiped and comfortable with an incredible view! We loved spending time on the balcony and watching the ocean, ships and fish and hearing the waves. Being able to cook breakfast and enjoy some time relaxing outside for a leisurely start to the day was perfect. We came to St. Kitts to surprise our married daughter (who lives 1500 miles away from us) who started a new career by attending Ross University of Veterinary Medicine. We rented this place from reading a review that mentioned a renter who attended his neice's White coat Ceremony at Ross. I looked into that and we were able to attend that and spend some time with our daughter as she begins her new adventure. The surprise itself and the time we got to spend with her was precious! We spent nice family time at the condo relaxing and exploring the rocks and beach. Bill, the owner, was most helpful in providing great restaurants and beaches on the island to visit. We supplemented it with places our daughter wanted to try. There was an extra bedroom for our son when he flew in to join us. There's so much to do at St. Kitts! Wonderful beaches and snorkeling, Caribelle Batik for unique island made gifts, Brimstone Fortress to explore, Ottley's Plantation for hiking thru the rainforest and enjoying a delightful meal in a unique atmosphere, ziplining over the rainforest, a whole day catamarran trip to Nevis with snorkeling and a beach BBQ, shopping at Port Zante, great restaurants and wonderful people. The condo has a washer and dryer so we left with clean clothes. All the left overs in the fridge when to our grateful Ross student. Since she's at Ross for 28 months, we will be back in touch with Bill Pinney for another stay! Thanks, Bill, for a great stay. We appreciated your personal guidance and checking with us to make sure everything was in order.

We were very impressed with our stay in St. Kitts. There were many times during the week when we commented about how we had been fortunate to pick the perfect place to stay on the island. We were far enough away to not have to deal with the crowd, but we were close enough to town to be able to run in for supplies or for shopping. The beach was right down the path from the apartment, and the beach restaurants and bars were within walking distance. We stayed in the bottom apartment, which I would highly recommend as it meant less steps to the beach. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked for cooking basic meals. We would highly recommend this place for travelers on a budget.
