  As a private owner that has owned this 7th floor unit for 8 years and works hard to keep it updated, the recent review is ridiculous. I have NEVER had any of these issues. If you are concerned, please contact me and I will give more details.

  4 words to summarize this condo: ROACHES, MOLD, STENCH and under-equipped kitchen (you rented a condo to cook few meals; forget about it! No decent pots to even cook rice!! Not a decent knife to cut meat or bread.There are only 4 butterknives! We had to share the knives and spoons (campers are better equipped) since there were not enough utensils for everyone. I called the condo representatives regarding this and they did not do anything about it... they were not helpful at all. But the most unpleasant things about this condo (besides the stench) are the roaches...This is the last thing you want to bring back home with you!! This will remain our lasting souvenir of this condo. Overall, the condo is spacious (large bedrooms but the odor is so bad...) The air conditioning conducts need a deep cleaning. The stench is probably coming from the AC system and the carpets. The condo needs a massive clean-up (walls are dirty) and major repairs due to water infiltrations which left visible mold colonies on the walls (in the master bedroom and the livingroom.) We are formal: This condo is the worst place we ever went to. It is extremely disappointing to be charged so much for such a dirty place. Added to that, the extra work required to ensure we didn't bring roaches back home... Vacationers don't need that! We were so disappointed that we spent our last day at the previous hotel we were at in North Myrtle Beach. Anecdote: Some guests had this 'strange' game... spitting on people laying around the pool from their balcony... Disgusting! Finally, our best recommendation for visitors who come to Myrtle Beach for the first time and are seeking for a restful place to enjoy and relax... STAY AWAY and do not rent this condo. Ocean Blvd is noisy (with roaring mustangs, pickups and screaming intoxicated young adults...) not a great place for a family. The sand and sea at MB are great ... look for another place (and there are many) further north. I wish I would have known this before coming to MB. Last word: the employees at the Palmetto shore were friendly and helpful.
