About the owner: My husband and I are film makers. We are avid surfers and love to travel. Nature is a big part of our life and we retreat to it often. We rescued a bunny that lived with us for 7 years which is why we called the house, CASA DE LOS CONEJITOS DEL AMOR (House of the love bunnies)
Why the Owner Chose La Mision:
I have traveled the world and have found the people of Baja to be some of the warmest and most welcoming. There is a deep appreciation for life, community, family, food, art and culture. There is a freedom there rarely found in states. An expansiveness that elevates and refreshes you. I can truly feel the magic in the air.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Peace, quiet, adventure, fine food, fine wine, fine tequilla ;), nature, nature, nature, surf, surf, surf. I do some of my best writing at that house. Love feeding the horses outside my front door, walks to the beach, art shows, tango classes, visiting with our fun eclectic neighbors, having them over for dinner or going to see live music. There is always something to do without obligation. Sometimes its hard to leave at all because the house is so very cozy. Just sitting outside in the hammock, overlooking the estuary, amidst my garden is pure bliss.
