A group of us have been going to Keaton Beach for nearly 10 years and this was by far one of the best houses we've stayed in. The location on the main canal was great and the house was in great shape. There are a few steps to climb to get to the house but that was the only downside. I will definitely keep this house in mind for our next Keaton Beach Fishing Trip.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We just recently stayed at this unit and all of our expectations were not only met but exceeded. I am usually reluctant about inviting family members down (especially my wife and sister in law) for a fishing and family weekend without checking out the place before hand. They were not disappointed. We had 7 adults and 2 children for the weekend stay there and did not feel like we were on top of each other and with 3 full baths our privacy was not compromized. The house was very clean and all appliances in top shape and more than adequate cooking utensils. My one and only complaint was that Alabama beat Georgia.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is my second stay this summer at Fish Gills and it never disappoints. Very relaxing stay and wonderful weather made it for the perfect weekend. It rained Sunday morning and we were able to sit on the porch and enjoy the rain and the view with the morning coffee. I have already booked my next trip with thanks to Lynne!!! You have been a great help! I would highly recommend staying here if going to Keaton Beach, to me, there is no other place!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

the house was great except for some very unusual weather. debbie produced a strong easterly wind and steady rain that caused water to pour into the home from the east side ,causing major flooding at the 3rd floor and second floor hall. we left on monday at 10am .we plan to come back to keaton beach in the near future because we like the area.Recommended for: Families with young children

Clean, comfortable. Kitchen, dining, and great room combo nice. Boat lift used and nice amenity. Well suited for our fishing vacation. Would rent again. Three stories would be tough if required to lug all ice chests, boxes, luggage, etc up the outside stairs. Dumb waiter lift a nice addition for us older folks.Did you find this review helpful? Beautiful home, spotlessly maintained and perfect for access to great flats fishing on the Big Bend. Easy access dockage and twin hoists under cover. Lots of decks for entertaining or just rocking to the constant breeze off the Gulf to the West or across the marsh to the East. Semi-secluded location on a canal with a short trip to open water, and 2 blocks from the public ramp. The $5. ramp fee is a bargain since the facility is new, well maintained, and has lots of parking. Marina with store is close and offers a hoist service for a minimal fee. We stayed during the first week in May and the water was too warm for the good fishing in prior years. Local pros said that March and April were great. Owners operate a property management business and are pros. We will be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I searched online for three days to find a rental home in Keaton that looked welcoming and clean, I came across this house and knew immediately I had to have it for my Boyfriends birthday weekend! We have stayed in rental homes all over the United States, this one is now ranked as our #1 destination! The house is beautiful, clean, well kept, and in a great location for fishing and scallop season. Also, the owner was so helpful and kind. We will definitely rent this house every time we visit Keaton Beach.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stay in homes all over the U.S.A. and this was one of the nicest ones by far. It was very clean, neat and had everything needed for our stay. I wish would did not have to leave!! We will definitely be back. This place is how i would have my own home. It is not set up to be just a rental, you can tell the owners really care about their investment. The covered boat lift with a huge sun deck was a big plus for our stay!!! Thank you for all of your help Scotty and Kaylyn. See ya next year the Mulders!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed here as a guest of the owner. This place is nicer and cleaner than any other property in the area. The boat ramp is 100yds away. We unloaded our boat and had it parked on the private covered lift at the house within 5 minutes. Loaded the boat and were in the gulf within 10 minutes. Awesome, comfortable, and clean place to stay.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 4/4
