  Our family had the opportunity to share this home with our friends this past summer. Having several teenagers on board, we feared that the location would lack activities to keep them busy. Turns out that we never got to complete the "places to go" list simply because the house, the location, the views, are all so wonderfully relaxing that we couldn't get enough of them! I would highly recommend this home. The house is a combination of a historical farm house with the modern day amenities. It's beautiful. The home owners were wonderful. Quick to respond to inquiries. We hope to visit Sinople Farm again!

  We spent a week in July at Sinople Farm. The farmhouse is lovely, with many modern amenities. And you can't beat the view! Close to many activities for all ages. The owners are very responsive with all questions that you have. Thanks to Diep and Jean for a charming, relaxing escape.

  This is a beautiful, unique house and property. The decor is tasteful, the bathrooms are luxurious (glorious river-rock showers and designer fixtures), and the setting is idyllic. The water views are amazing! My husband, son and I stayed here over Spring Break and Easter weekend. While this property certainly would be very comfortable for a large family or group, it's also suitable for a small family. Because of the expansiveness of the house and grounds, we felt like we were staying at our dream inn - and were fortunate enough to have it all to ourselves! We really enjoyed exploring this part of Maryland and definitely would like to return, especially now that we've found this wonderful place to stay. We particularly enjoyed visiting the Maritime Museum, hiking to the Calvert Cliffs, and looking for fossils along the beach. The property was very clean and well-maintained, as described in the listing. The owners were incredibly helpful and very nice. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to our family and friends.

  Sinople Farm exudes calm and space, good taste, and beauty of every kind both outside and inside. A group of 5 women over 50 gathered (and will gather again) for a reunion. We needed 5 bedrooms - and there are even more sleeping spaces. And plentiful gathering spaces and rooms for sitting and reading and bathrooms with remarkable modern design. The feel of this wonderful house/home is an unusual combination of loving the original old part of the house with Colonial colors on the walls and 3 staircases going to the upper two floors with all modern conveniences and respect for environmental well-being. It is on the water with a pier and boats and views of the sunset to cherish and soothe the spirit. It is a drivable distance from the DC and Baltimore areas and a gem of luxurious living combined with distinct simplicity. I shall go anytime I am able to and consider the owners generous beyond words. In fact so much so that because we left the house so very clean, for the first time in my life renting homes through VRBO, they were kind enough to reduce our cleaning fee. There is no way to be disappointed!

  We rented Sinople Farm sight unseen and were thrilled when we arrived and discovered the beautiful setting and historical house with lovely antiques and totally up-to-date bathrooms and amenities. We kayaked, rode bikes, cooked out, watched the sunset over the Patuxent River from the porch rocking chairs and generally had the most relaxing and enjoyable time. The place is immaculate, and since we were bringing a turkey to cook that night, I was relieved that the stove was substantial and had a convection option. All the appliances were top-of-the-line. I think what we loved most was the space afforded by several living areas, so that the seven of us (adults) could be together or apart as the spirit moved us. We plan to return next year again. The owner was extremely helpful and right on top of things when we called her with questions. There are state parks, golf courses, wineries and sport fishing boats in nearby Solomons Island. We ate out once at Stoney's Kingfisher restaurant in town which was OK. The Tiki Bar is fun for drinks, if the weather is good. The best part is that it's only an hour and a half from Washington, DC, where we live, without going over the Bay Bridge.

  We have had a wonderful week at Sinople Farm filled with beautiful memories. Your home is beautiful and everyone in our family enjoyed their own space in each of the beautiful and comfortable bedrooms. Thank you for the toys that our children enjoyed playing with all week. We enjoyed the kayak rides, the gorgeous views, swimming in the water and the peaceful grounds.

  We enjoyed your comfortable home and its grounds. Our 3 grandchildren (ages 3-10) enjoyed swimming at the nearby beach and the swing. We all enjoyed eating outdoors at the table and the beautiful sunsets over the river... Thank you very much!

  Our extended family of 11 (ranging in age from 78 to 18 months) had a wonderful week here with just the right mix of doing nothing and doing something. The location and setting are unbeatable and the house utterly lovely. We took a vote and unanimously agreed we want to come back again next year.
