This recently-remodeled tri level end unit town house features easy, direct beach access and peaceful, relaxing surroundings. Features include comfortable furnishings, hickory hardwood floors, carpeted bedrooms, tiled kitchen and laundry, premium decorative tile and granite counters in both bathrooms. The fully-stocked kitchen offers all the cook's tools (from shrimp steamer pot to lots of wine glasses) and small appliances you need (microwave, coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender, toaster, etc.). Bedroom 1 offers 2 twin beds and a private balcony, flat screen TV and DVD and access to a full bath with shower. Bedroom 2 is a Master upstairs with King bed, large full tub/shower bath and flat screen TV. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans. The living room features a large sectional sofa perfect for lounging, flat screen TV and large sliding glass doors to a back deck. Watch the golfers chip up onto the 11th hole of the top-rated Wild Dunes Links golf course, just steps from the back deck (patio seating for 4 and umbrella). You won't feel like working at Fairway Dunes 12, but if you must, free high-speed Wi-Fi is included. Stereo/CD/iPod player, books, games, boogie boards and 4 beach chairs are also included. One-car garage. Linens/towels included. The Fairway Dunes community, located on the quietest end of Wild Dunes Resort, offers a guest-only pool, kiddie pool and 2 tennis courts. Washer/dryer. Iron/ironing board. If you feel there's something missing, please let the property manager know so we can make sure it's there next time!

Wonderful place to stay. The unit is beautiful and very convenient. Kitchen was better equipped than other units that we have used previously. This was the first vacation my wife & I have had without kids or grandkids, and we could not have asked for a better place o stay. We are already making plans to come back next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

About the owner: Welcome to Isle of Palms, SC and Wild Dunes! We've loved this area ever since first visiting friends here back in the 90s. We'll be retiring to Charleston someday from our current location in Atlanta, GA... until then, we know you'll savor this part of the world as much as we do. Bob and Elke Popiel.
Why the Owner Chose Fairway Dunes:
Isle of Palms is a great family vacation spot and the resort of Wild Dunes is wonderful place to forget about everyday cares: you'll love this barrier island's pristine beaches and laid-back atmosphere while enjoying top-resort quality amenities and surroundings. The convenient Isle of Palm Connector is just a 10 minute drive away, offering easy access to destinations like the weekly Mt. Pleasant Farmer's market, Shem Creek restaurants, Whole Foods, just-caught shrimp at Mt. Pleasant Seafoods, great shops and much more. Historic downtown Charleston and its wonderful sights and endless choice of dining, shopping and activities is also an easy drive (or daytrip on your bike!) away. Our current fave restaurants are The Grocery, The MacIntosh and Husk. Love to boat? The Isle of Palms Marina is just a couple minutes from the main gate of Wild Dunes. Bring your boat (don't forget to make a reservation at the marina) and explore the Intracoastal and other barrier islands to your heart's content. Or, just check out who's docked or bringing in fresh catch... buy a sandwich (great food!) inside the store and park yourself in one of the Adirondeck chairs on the back deck. If you're lucky, someone is selling fresh-caught stone crab for cheap in the marina parking lot. A great variety of day trips, such as the family friendly Eco Barrier Tours, depart from here as well. You will also enjoy a ferry ride out to Bull's Island to check on the gators - brings lots of bug juice! When you're heading to the ferry via Rte 17 North to Awendaw, stop at the Seewee Outpost for snacks and stuff.
