Grace's Place is a real Maine cottage , with pine floors and a working stone fireplace. Walk down the path to a sand and stone beach, read a book on the inside porch or outside deck with a great view of Harpswell Sound, Bailey's and Orr's Islands and the open ocean beyond, while the kids play in the yard.This is a very quiet location, just right for that get away have you been looking for, with enough room inside and out to avoid that "cabin fever" feeling.
That said, Grace's Place is close to Brunswick with its music festival and music theater, Bowdoin College and great restaurants; Freeport, with LL Bean; Portland, with the Sea Dogs baseball team and great waterfront shopping and dining.
A deep water mooring is available for your boat, or a captain and 30' sailboat are nearby for charter.
