My family and I had a great week at Salmon Point. The house was very clean, comfortable and fully stocked. The large dining/sitting area overlooking the lake was an added bonus. The house is perfectly situated right on the lake with a large sun deck and a spacious yard, which was great for a variety of outdoor games. We also loved to relax and unwind around the fire pit in the evenings. This truly was a home away from home. I would highly recommend this property and have already booked our week for next summer. My family has vacationed in this area on Sebago Lake for decades, but, with spouses and grandchildren in the picture, we've outgrown the family camp. Salmon Point is the ideal substitute - homey and comfortable, yet well-appointed, spacious, and comfortable. Kitchen is roomy enough for multiple chefs and supplied with everything we needed; bathrooms are clean and modern; beds and couches are comfortable and welcoming. The wood-paneled porch is great for dining and relaxing, a real Maine classic. The expansive lawn is great for games, picnicking and lounging in the shade of the tall trees, ideal for a family of redheads! Sandy beach is accessible right out the front door and onto the right-of-way; my family, including several elementary-age kids, spent most of our time on the property's dock, which is in deep enough water for jumping (not diving!) off, for docking the pontoon boat, and for launching the canoe. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, with easy access to Rte. 114. We look forward to coming back soon!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/2
