Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina condo description
This is a corner unit Villa with fantastic views of Sapphire Bay. The Villa can easily sleep 6. It has a King size bed and 2 pull out sofas. The first floor consists of the kitchen area, dining area with a table for four and entertainment are with a pull out sofa and flat scree TV. There is also a full bath. Finally, it has its own deck with patio furniture. The second floor has the king size bed and a pull out sofa. There is also a flat screen TV. The bath is full size with a bathtub. The second floor also enjoys its own deck with patio furniture.
The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots, pans and appliances so that you can cook in if you wish.
All linens are provided, including beach towels. We also have an agreement with the dive shop that entitles you to free beach chairs, snorkel gear and floats for the duration of your stay.

Stayed at this condo in March 2014 with our two children, the location was perfect, we loved having breakfast on the deck every morning before walking right onto the beach. This multi level condo was a perfect fit for our needs. The two bathrooms was a big plus. Went into red hook for groceries and had most of our meals right in the condo, it has everything you need. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit. The view from both level decks was breathtaking. The owners were very helpful with questions we had and rental was a breeze. Gregg and Aimee were pleasant to work with.

We stayed here over the Christmas-to-New-Years week in 2013. The condo was perfectly located! It was great sitting on the deck to eat, and having the gorgeous ocean right in front of you. It's a terrific side of St. T, with lots of little islands dotting the sea view. The beach in front of the building appears to be the best one in the condo complex, with soft sand, gentle waves, and great snorkeling. Speaking of the beach, we were there at probably one of the busiest times of the year (8 mega cruise ships were in port one of the days!), but even when the passengers from the ships would throng the beach, it was still possible to find your own little area on the sand and in the ocean. (The dive shop owners were a great help with that; I'm shocked to hear that the shop is closed, as it seemed to be doing really, really well while we were there.) Moreover, most ship folks wouldn't arrive until 10-11 or so, and then be gone by 3-4, and the beach was gloriously open and empty then. It was also great to walk along the shore in the evening. The condo had everything that we needed for cooking and eating. Pots and pans, mixing bowls, microwave, a pitcher for iced tea, etc. [We did mostly self-catering, & I would HIGHLY recommend a stop at the Cost-U-Less (or similar) on the way from the airport to the condo. We packed some small essentials (spices, dry mac-n-cheese for the kids, etc.), but were able to get everything else (meat, bread, fruit, veggies, hot sauce, pizza, cheap rum) at the C-U-Less for under $150 for a family of 4 for a full week - not bad for island prices!] We left some of our spices, sugar, salt, tupperware, etc., behind for future guests, btw. The bed in the upstairs bedroom is very comfortable. I can't comment on the sleeper beds, as the kids ended up just sleeping on the sofas as sofas (with sheets on top), but those were apparently comfortable as well. The towels (both bath and beach) were nice quality. The Sapphire Beach area was also very convenient when we didn't want to self-cater. There is a casual little restaurant in the other condo complex by the marina (the one with the blue roof), and an awesome BBQ truck up at the top of the hill, by the main road. It was also very easy to flag down a safari taxi to go into Red Hook (it's more expensive to get back, of course, unless you want to ride around the whole island) for restaurants there or the ferry to St. J. Finally, the communication with the owners was perfect. A++

Recommended for: Families with young children.
Pros: The view and the location. This place has the best view of any place I've ever stayed, hands down. Nothing but beautiful blue water, palm trees and other islands from the moment you open your eyes in the morning. The pictures on the website don't even do it justice. The location was great too - just a short mile from Red Hook, which is home to the restaurants in the area and the ferry. The best part of the beach is in front of the A building. Also, we went to 8 different beaches on our stay and some of the best snorkeling is right in front of this condo. The owners are very easy to work with and communicate well throughout the rental process. Cons: Minor things, really. No soap and very little toilet paper provided (and the prices at the mini mart in Red Hook are crazy). One of the sleeper sofas was broken, but I was told it's being fixed soon. The exterior of the buildings are a bit run down, but not in any way that would discourage me from staying there. The biggest problem is the dive shop is temporarily closed. The owners were very generous in providing snorkel gear for us to use, but it would have been nice to kayak and use beach chairs too. That's not the fault of the owner, though, and will hopefully be resolved soon. Overall great stay at a great place. We would definitely stay in this same condo again and would recommend it to anyone.

Owner response: Thanks for the review. The dive shop closure was a surprise to everyone. Unfortunately we had no control over it. To try and make up for it we have put snorkel gear in the condo and the Condo Association has placed beach chairs on the beach for all guests to use. As far as the buildings go we are currently undergoing a renovation. That will be completed in 2015. FYI, no work is done between December and April. The sofa bed is still having issues. A replacement has been ordered but as you know, nothing is quick on the island. When it comes down to it the view is spectacular. That is the main draw! Thanks for staying with us and we hope you come back.
Our vacation to St. Thomas was amazing. My family had a wonderful time. This property on Sapphire Beach is an excellent find! Million dollar views each morning and all day. The kids enjoyed kyacking, snorkeling, paddle boarding right outside our door. Sapphire is one of my favorite beaches on St. Thomas. The listing photos accurately reflect the rental’s appearance and amenities. It is clean and well maintained. Very quiet, I didn't hear any of the neighbors, I hope they didn't hear us. It is close to a grocery store, and plenty of restaurants. I recommend Big Bamboos for a nice meal and some late night drinks. I have recommended this property to friends and family. Greg and Aimee are wonderful and so easy to work with. Thank you, we have made some memories here that will stay with us forever!

We spent our best vacation ever at Sapphire Beach! The condo is so nice, and the view and beach are fabulous! We can't thank Gregg enough; he was very helpful and accommodating for our family! This was our first trip to St. Thomas, and when we come back, we plan on staying here again!! My kids couldn't decide what they loved more; the beach or the pool. We ate all our meals on the deck(s) just soaking in the scenery. Condo is so close to Red Hook for the ferries, grocery store, etc. Everything we needed was right there for the perfect beach vacation.
