'Palm' studio is a cozy unit with spectacular ocean view. It is located upstairs of our 'Flamboyan unit' with Homeaway #954690. The two units share a common lobby entrance. 'Palm' studio equips with a king size bed, a spacious loft with two twin size mattresses and a large bathroom, perfect for romantic getaways, or families with children. The property features two spacious balconies, one with uninterrupted ocean view and patio furniture, the other with a barbecue grill. 'Palm' studio has a small but well equipped kitchen, a refrigerator, a 55' cable TV, a split-unit air conditioner, washer/dryer, dinning table for four, a sofa, and high-speed internet.

Palmanova Village is located on the top of a hill next to the Palmanova Plaza in Palmas del Mar. It has a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, and a gym center with sauna rooms--all are free of charges for renters and residents. Our “Palm” condo is about 150 m away straight distance from the seashore, and about 10 minutes walking distance to the nearest beach (1111 steps). All beaches are free in Puerto Rico. You can rent a golf cart ($20-$50 per day) to access all the beaches in Palmas del Mar.

Palmas del Mar is the largest master-planned community in the Caribbean. Set in approximately 2,750 acres (11.1 km2) of land, the resort includes over 25 different neighborhoods, a bank, retail shops, an equestrian centre, 2 golf courses, a marina, 16 restaurants, a casino, great views of the Luquillo Mountains and Vieques island, and security and strict-access control 24 hours a day. In addition, we have membership to sponsor you to access the membership exclusive facilities in the Palmas Athletic Club (a fitness center, 20 tennis courts, and a beach club with three pools) at a discounted rate of $10-15/day/person. Palmas del Mar is about 30 minutes to Fajardo, 45 minutes to the US Forest Service Rainforest Visitor Center--El Portal, and about 50 minutes to the San Juan (SJU) airport. Shopping and grocery centers are about 10 minutes driving distance away in downtown Humacao. One can enjoying beach/pool bathing, snorkeling, scuba diving, horse riding,and golf/tennis playing inside of Palmas del Mar. Outside Palmas del Mar, one can visit the rainforest in the Luquillo Mountains, biobay and the Cabezas Nature Reserve in Fajardo, and Culebra and Vieques islands.

This studio was more than spectacular. It was gorgeous! The amenities and the layout of the studio were perfect for my family. The property and its surroundings are well maintained and the views are picture perfect as seen on here. We have rented form this owner and his properties are both amazing. The decor is amazing and needless to say the location is great. The beaches are great and everything is so close to this location.(snorkeling, horseback riding, pools, beach) We had a great time and we will be returning. I would recommend this to anyone. LOVED IT. thanks

One of our best family vacations! The condo was impeccably clean and well stocked as well as centrally located to many site seeing destinations. Condo looks exactly like the photos online. Owners were wonderful and always answered our phone calls/emails promptly and were very helpful. We loved the beautiful views and the kids loved the loft. I would recommend Palmas del Mar to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation with adventurous and educational activities nearby. We plan to return next year for another great week.

Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We stayed in the Palm studio for a week during spring break and absolutely loved it! The unit is very clean and seems brand new. All of the appliances and accessories were high quality and not your typical rental items. The owner has thought of everything you could possibly need while on vacation and it was like staying in your own home. Our 2 kids LOVED sleeping in the loft area and I even slept up there a couple nights and it was really comfortable. We couldn't get enough of the amazing views from the porch and we spent our mornings drinking coffee out there as well as using it to play cards, have happy hour and just relax. The roll out sun screen was awesome in case it was too hot in the afternoon sun. The entry lobby has every kind of sand toy, pool and beach toy you need and it so convenient to have that right there. We made use of it all! The security in Palmas Del Mar is so tight, it might be the only annoying thing, but we never felt unsafe for even a moment. You need to go through a guard gate to enter the resort, then use a remote to get through the gate your the Palmanova Village, then a key to enter the building, then a keyless code to get into both the lobby and your unit. Lots of steps and we were always forgetting a key, or a remote and having to go back and get something, but like I said, we felt incredibly safe here. I would come back and recommend it to anyone. The owner was available anytime I called with questions. Great to deal with! We loved The Flying Pizza and Zona Grill in the plaza for restaurants too.

We stayed at the Studio from Feb. 17-20th, 2013 and everything was exactly as described in the listing and shown in the pictures. Everything in the apartment and balcony is like new. We spent a lot of time in the balcony which was probably our favorite feature, it felt like we were in a penthouse overlooking the ocean and Vieques, the picture on the description almost doesn't do it justice. Overall the place is very welcoming and functional, it really felt like we were staying at a family member's guest house. Definitely recommend it if you're trying to unwind away from the crowds and with amazing views. We tried venturing out of the resort a lot but honestly didn't find a whole lot to see. Many locals were surprised to see "tourists" outside but we felt very safe everywhere we went. The communities surrounding the resort area are small and old fishing or farming towns of sorts so if you want to stay on vacation mode you'd probably need to stay on the premises which have more than enough to do. The food at the Beach House cafe was decent and we had a very nice dinner at the Wyndham for about $45. Definitely recommend staying here if we get to come back we'll definitely try to stay here.
