Totally Renovated Gulf Front Condo - Amazing Views!

  The property was listed for sale and we were never informed of this when we made our reservation, consequently, I received 3 calls from the rental agent and 2 calls from the owner asking us to let an agent show the condo while we were renting it. After I told the rental agent that we preferred not to have the agent show the apartment, we received at least two calls from the owner and three from the rental agent. I do not think that the owner should have had access to my personal information and I certainly do not think that he should have called me twice to push me into using my family's vacation time to show his condo, especially after I said "no". After the owner offered to refund our cleaning fee if we showed the apartment, I consented and we were told that an agent would come between 1 and 3 to show the unit. As a courtesy to the owner, we straightened the condo and tried to be out at the times the agent said he would be there. The agent never came!!!! It is my opinion that for all of the hassle and all of the trouble, our cleaning fee and the deposit should be refunded to us. We did accomodate the owner and we can't be held responsible if the agent never came! I would also like to mention, that while we enjoyed the condo itself, the rugs were very soiled and the exhaust fan in the bathroom of the master bedroom was broken. That will cause a future mildew problem. Upon arrival, the renting agency also did not know if the unit had a lock box with a key to get in the front door. This is something that should be noted on the condo information.

  Owner response: We are so glad you enjoyed the condo itself and apologize for any inconvenience caused by the phone calls you received in regards to the showing. We always strive to keep the condo in top condition. Subsequently, the carpets are cleaned throughout the year and regular maintenance is performed to combat the wear and tear that comes with renting the unit year-round. Again, we are sorry that you feel you were inconvenienced by the phone calls from the management company and sincerely hope that you were able to relax and enjoy your stay aside from those calls.   This is a wonderful condo to spend a relaxing vacation with the family. The building was nice and quiet with only the sounds of the waves and laughing childrens voices as we relaxed before bed. It has a nice large balcony with incredible views. Close proximity to resturants made it easy to relax.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children.

  My husband and I stayed in this condo for our 2nd wedding anniversary in June 2011, and it was absolutely perfect. The condo is beautifully appointed and has been renovated in a contemporary and comfortable style (no uncomfortable wicker beach sofa or sea-shell-shaped sinks in this condo!). Even with the sleek choices in decor, the owner managed to keep the laid back beach vibe in tact perfectly. The condo itself is also spacious and very quiet. Additionally, since the condo is on the 8th floor, the views from both the living room and the mater bedroom's floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors were spectacular. We enjoyed our nights sitting out on the large patio, sipping our glasses of wine and watching the folks on the beach below search for treasures. And there was NOTHING better than waking up every morning to the sounds of the ocean...made us want to get out on the beach ASAP. And we could because prime beach spots were just a short walk away from the condo. Romar Tower's size is perfect because visitors don't have to battle for space in the pool or on the beach (like you do with some of the gargantuan mega-complexes). There is enough room for everyone to relax at this place. Finally, this condo came stocked with all the comforts of home to make cooking, cleaning and maintenance a breeze (minus groceries, of course). But there is a Wal Mart Marketplace and a Winn Dixie right across the street for the last minute purchases that you always need when on vacation. If you are looking for an affordable romantic weekend away or just a fun family vacation, this condo is your absolute best best.

  My family and I had such a wonderful stay in your beautiful condo! I love the way it is decorated, which made our stay even better! We felt right at home and are looking forward to coming back again very soon. I especially loved the view from the balcony... Being able to hear the ocean at night made for such a wonderful night's sleep each night! I came home feeling very relaxed!   We had a wonderful Spring Break week! Beaches were great, pool was never too crowded, plenty of room to spread out. Loved staying in an updated condo!!
