  My boyfriend and I just returned from our stay in Old San Juan. We stayed at Carmen's loft for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute. The location of the loft is in the heart of Old San Juan, super close to restaurants, shops, and historical sites. The loft itself is quaint, stocked with everything you need and air conditioned. There are no windows to the outside so we found ourselves sleeping in and forgetting about the time (which wasn't such a bad thing). Carmen's husband David met us promptly with a key and was eager to answer any questions we had and gave us a few suggestions for things to do and restaurants. One thing to note, you'll hear that there aren't any beaches near Old San Juan, we walked about a mile and a half out of old San Juan and found a nice beach to kick back at. We had a great stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to spend time in Old San Juan.

  I have stayed many times in San Juan, including hotels... This time, we did something different. We rented this loft and I have to say that IT WAS THE BEST DECISION EVER! Really, in a hotel in Old San Juan you get a tiny room where you cannot spend time if you have to rest for a while because its claustrophobic. Here, you have a fully equipped room, a fully equipped kitchen, a TV area (family room) that includes a futon, a dinner room and a bathroom. This place is more that comfortable and has room enough for a family of four. The best part of it, it's located in the best part of San Juan! Walking distance to everywhere. The owners are amazing people! They even told us the best places to visit in the area. What can I say, fully recommend it! If you're looking for a place to stay in Old San Juan, this is it. One of my favorite features is that this apartment / loft, is in a beautiful building that maintains the feeling of what really is Old San Juan. The architecture still holds its natural state which gives you the feeling of a real Old San Juan stay. And I have to say that it is a relive to have a kitchen this time and be able to buy some groceries (water, bread, cheese, coffee, etc). This way you don't have to go out and spend money every time you're hungry or thirsty. This is a definite plus! Well, be smart, enjoy your stay! I did!

  Our stay in Puerto Rico was amazing. It started with the cutest little apartment in Old San Juan! It's right off the Colon Square with lots of neat places to eat. It was nice when we would leave Old San Juan it seems the traffic was always going the opposite way! The apartment is on the second floor of an old building. It has no windows, but this makes it very quiet. Also, the queen size bed is up a spiral staircase that is missing some railings. So this would not be a good rental for the elderly, children, or disabled. The owners are wonderful and very helpful. They are just a text away if you get lost or have questions. Go and enjoy!

  My boyfriend and I stayed at this loft for a weekend during the San Sebastián festivities in old San Juan. The location is great, because it is right in the middle of everything, but the apartment itself is quiet since it is indoor, so away from all the noise. We loved going to the cafeteria every morning, right on the corner on the plaza on the street the loft was in. Great coffee! The loft is small but nicely furnished and decorated. The unit has AC, a fully equipped kitchen and dining room. The loft has very high ceilings, which allowed for the bedroom to be built on a second floor, overlooking the living room. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They supplied us with water in the refrigerator, soap/shampoo in bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay in beautiful San Juan and we highly recommend this loft :)

  My experience at the Loft was a positive one once we got accustomed to the space. The group was two adults and two children. The best things for us were: -friendliness and patience of the owner David. -property was quiet and safe. -the main queen bed was quite comfortable, sheets were super soft. -extremely close to San Cristobal Castle, food and shopping within a block. -great for sightseeing and people watching. -children (5 and 7 yrs) were comfortable in their futon bed. -property was clean. -internet works very well once we figured it out. Our issues were the following: there was a missing railing in the loft making it dangerous for any child that would try to wander up, and shower water temperature was very tricky to control. Recommended for people who don't need to drive. Overral a fun experience.

  I was more than impressed by the condo that my mother, wife and I stayed in while in Puerto Rico. There was ample enough space and the condo felt like home. All of the attributes that I could have asked for were there. The renters anticipated all of our needs and gave us a comfortable and safe place to stay. It was very clean and very close to everything socially and adventuresome in the city. Located right off a major square, many restaurants, shops and clubs were in walking distance. And if we needed to take a cab, everything was only ten minutes away.The most awesome part about the property was the loft style bedroom that gave us enough privacy so that we didn't feel like we were invading each other's space. I'm very glad that I was introduced to this property and I definitely will be returning.

  This appartment was really nice !! 2 levels each whit one bed ( the pellow soo confortable .. ) little but perfect kitchen whit all you need , a/c , lundry down stairs . The location was more than perfect whe where close to everything in the heart of old san juan and you really feel safe. Whe shared are adventure whit other people and the ask me all the info about that sweet little place :) so hope more people will be able to enjoy theres stay has whe did !! thanks again

  Beautiful loft! I was amazed how they took this space, and made a modern environment but yet kept the historic feeling of it. The location is in the heart of "El Viejo San Juan". You go out the front door and you are "there", the best part of San Juan, walking distance to the best restaurants and shops. I rented for my 5 year anniversary, bought some champagne, strawberries, roses and "Doritos" that my wife loves, jaja. We had a great time, it was a surprise for my wife and she LOVED it. In just one weekend we explored and walked all San Juan and ate in some really interesting places, we bought some souvenirs and met some real nice people. We will be coming back, SEE YOU SOON!

  Excellent location, you're right in the center of Old San Juan: Nearby most touristic sites and eateries! Walking distance to most! Loft is small but cozy. It has a very colonial, vintage feeling. The rail of the staircase is slightly loose alongside the loft, so you must be very careful. The loft is very clean and equipped with the necessary. AC feels very cool! Also, the loft is equipped with pamphlets and booklets to tour Puerto Rico. The owner Carmen is very friendly and professional, and very easy to get in contact with. She usually replies within a few hours of your inquiry. The loft is great for a couple or a group of 3. I will stay there again given the chance. Thank you Carmen!

  The loft was wonderful, tons of charm in a quaint place. the location worked really well for us, we took public transportion to Ocean Park Beach and Condado Beach- the fort really is just around the block. The location was perfect! We even got to witness some filming for White Collar at the end of the street! I highly recommend this rental for your stay in Old San Juan- Carmen and her husband were wonderful as well. Thanks for the memories!
