  This home was perfect for our family. There are 8 of us, with the youngest being 14. Plenty of space. The dining room over looks the lake. The deck was perfect for morning coffee and evening talks. The king size bed was comfy with a morning wake up to a view of the lake. The boys loved the canoe and had quite the adventure with it. We cooked some amazing meals in the very well stocked kitchen, it lacks nothing as for cooking utensils. Peaceful and quite neighborhood. We made great life memories this summer and have discussed this place being a perfect winter retreat as well. The owners were awesome to work with and you can see their love for this home in the quaint details.

  The house is great, tons of room. It would a good place for a group of couples for a fun weekend getaway or perfect for a family. The lake has lots of recreation areas for fishing, etc. You can rent boats at the marinas as well, as long as you are there during the season. The owners were great to work with and you can tell they truly love their home once you step inside.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

  Would recommend this property to all my friends and family. The house is larger than it looked in the pictures and the view is wonderful. My kids took the canoe out and had a great time. It was nice to have all the comforts of home and all the kitchen supplies. Will certainly be staying here again. Barry & Phaedra were great to work with.

  For a little family getaway, my husband and I and our 3 children and son-in-law, daughter-in-law and 4 grandbabies spent this past weekend- July 8th, 9th and 10th at this property and can I say IT IS GORGEOUS! The house is wonderful, much bigger than the pictures show. The view was fantastic- great sunset from the back deck and the morning peacefulness was great. The house was supplied with all our needs, we just brought the food! And the house was very clean and a very quiet, clean neighborhood. It was not far from our son's boat dock and down the road was the lake with a dock that the guys could fish off of. Barry and Phaedra were great to work with on getting this house and making sure we had what we needed. If you need a place to stay at Pomme De Terre Lake- I would highly recommend you contact Barry and Phaedra!

  This place was fabulous! My husband and I along with another couple rented it for the July 4th weekend and had a blast! Everything was as described, but it is much larger inside than the pictures depict. The wildlife we saw on a daily basis was amazing! It's in a very peaceful area ... not too close and not too far from all the activity of the area! Barry and Phaedra were very sweet and always available to answer questions. I would definitely recommend staying here!

  Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.
