  April 22-29, 2008 - Kudio Shores #412 did it again!!! Another perfect vacation at the very best condo on Kauai. How could one get any nearer to paradise than to hear the surf, watch the surfers, feel the trade winds and enjoy privacy and solitude beyond words? How could one find the convenience of being so close to all the conveniences and the short driving distance to just about any place on the island? How could one just look to the West, East and South and see blue green water, white caps, sea turtles and amazing rock structures? This was my second stay in #412 and my husband’s first and it was just as amazing as the first time. With its hospitable atmosphere, soothing colors, incredible bed, outsized closets, a massive shower and above all the peaceful surroundings not to mention the extra amenities to make our stay even more perfect. Although we feel this is our last visit to Hawaii, we could not have chosen a better place to stay, superb owners to deal with and the GIR Rental Services that went way and beyond what was required.   Use these special words to describe "wonderful", "peaceful", "delightful", "satisfying", "fabulous" and absolutely "perfect" then you would be describing this condo at Kuhio Shores Condos. My daughter planned a Mother/Daughter trip in April, 2006 so the two of us could experience a time together we would never forget and she not only picked out the very best condo on the island but also many other activities and events. Needless to say, it was something I never expected to happen with its fully equipped accommodations, scenery, amenities, and cleanliness. The daily choices are endless with your ability to cook or not cook – the choice to do something or not do anything. The surf is four floors down, lapping at the rocks and echoing in the room with a gentle beckoning call - calling to relax, calling to enjoy, and totally calling to experience Kauai as it should be experienced. The owners have taken great pride in this unit and there is no disappointment with regards to its beauty and being on the top floor gives you a panoramic view that you could never anticipate. Not only was our stay perfect but now my husband and I are going back in April, 2008, as I want him to know what I have been telling him and to totally encompass him in the Hawaiian feeling.   In response to our guest questionnaire, Denise writes: "My husband and I had a wonderful time and absolutely loved the location of Kuhio Shores. We particularly liked being able to snorkel on both sides and in front of the condo, watching sunrises and sunsets from the lanai, watching the green turtles from the lanai, and having dinners at the Beach House Restaurant. A plus for your condo was that it was very quiet. Also, it is on the top floor and is one of the condos that juts further out towards the water than some other units, enhancing the stunning ocean views."

  If you decide to book this condo for your Kauai vacation, you won't be disappointed. Everything about this condo was incredible. The views are outstanding. We loved spending time on the lanai watching the whales, dolphins and turtles. We watched the sunrise every morning and the sunset every evening. As we were on the top floor, we had a great view of the ocean and the whales, turtles and dolphins. The beach in front of the Beach House restaurant is a two minute walk away and has excellent snorkelling. The bay to the other side boasts having one of the best places to snorkel with the turtles. The condo itself was very spacious and had everything we needed. From the boogie boards and beach gear, fully equipped kitchen and even shampoo and conditioner in the double shower. In addition to all of the above, we didn't hear a single rooster crow! Instead we were lulled to sleep by the wonderful sounds of the ocean. When we return to Kauai, we will be planning our trip around the availablity of Kuhio Shores 412! The owners and rental agency are wonderful to deal with, too! Scott and Rebecca Dawson Creek, BC

  Kuhio Shores is a fantastic place to stay and #412 is a wonderful condo in this building. It's true, you won't get closer to the ocean so if you love the sound of the surf and love seeing the beautiful blue ocean from your condo, stay here. #412 has all the amenities you will need and the owners have made sure that you will be very comfortable. There is nothing negative about this condo at all, and the rates are extremely reasonable especially considering it's absolutely oceanfront property.

"We were fine without air conditioning, the trade winds were constantly blowing and with the ceiling fan it was very comfortable. Even if there was air conditioning, we probably wouldn't have used it. It was so nice to hear the waves crashing all night and we loved having the windows open."

We have stayed at Kuhio Shores many times, and as far as we are concerned, it is where we will always stay if at all possible. Your condo is great. We love the 4th floor so we can see the surfers & the turtles. The condo was very comfortable all the way around. We used some of the beach chairs in your well stocked closet, and used the beaches on the sides of the condo every day. Ate at Brennecke's several times - always Yummy. Snorkeled nearly every day. Kaua'i has so much to offer. It is the most beautiful place on earth to us. Your condo helped make our vacation wonderful. We would love to stay in your condo again. You've done a great job making it comfortable. Mahalo!" "(the select comfort bed) was the BEST thing practically! We have one at home & always have problems sleeping the first night away. Not this time! LOVED IT!" "Definitely will stay again" "Never felt the need for AC on any trip."
