  We stayed at the Atwood’s vacation rental with our family and friends and it was perfect. It is within walking distance of town. It has a lovely backyard for grilling and dining outside. The bedding was very comfortable. The attention to detail was incredible, mints in every room, flat screen TV’s, cable and DVD players, WiFi, and a huge selection of clean linens and towels. The home has been recently renovated and is impeccably clean. We loved the unique shop next store that also offered DVD rentals. We will be returning to this home again.

  This place is excellent - do not underestimate - The owners have thought of eveything. I stayed here a week and found this place to be so relaxing and a short drive to all we wanted to see in Colorado. Hope to stay here again in the future. Thanks Jim and Sheryl for this wonderful place.

  This place has everything you could need, and then some. As one of the other reviews mentioned--don't underestimate this place. It was very clean and well maintained. The listing description and pictures are very accurate. The location is convenient and within walking distance of downtown. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone.

  This was the perfect "home" for our daughter and her family's stay for a family reunion. Everything was there and in top condition. We all enjoyed the home and the children and adults loved the backyard as it was fenced and we did not have to worry about the children. The owners were a delight to work with. We would definitely rent The Atwood Home again.

  Our family of 6 stayed here for a little over a week. What a great place. They truly have thought of everything. Our kids moved right in claiming which bunk bed was theirs. The fenced in backyard was great to let our kids play in. The grill, DVD players, and washer and dryer was a busy family's dream. We hope to be back next tear. Don't hesitate to stay here, it's perfect and super clean!! We loved our stay!!

  We had a fabulous time in BV celebrating Christmas here! Everything was very clean. The kitchen had everything to prepare a complete Christmas dinner. There was plenty of room for everyone here. Thanks so much for such great accomodations! We stay at a lot of VRBO properties and yours is at the top for value for the dollar! We will be back.

  My friends and me came out to ride 4-wheelers in the area and we wanted a place to stay that was in the center of town so we could walk to the bars and resturants. This is the place to stay, it is in the center of town and it is very nice. Every thing was clean and well kept, you can tell the owners take pride in their property. I will stay here again. I have stayed in BV before and this place is much nicer than the place I stayed before.

  My family of four stayed in this vacation home from August 20-23, 2011. I had not been back to the Buena Vista area since I was a kid, and it was fun to introduce it to my husband and two children (ages 11 and 14). The house is quiet, extremely clean and thoughtfully arranged for the comfort of guests. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood near the downtown area of B.V., with easy access to all the fun things to do in the area. There were lots of towels, wonderful beds, lotions and shampoos in the bathrooms, free use of the W/D...more amenities than most other places I have stayed. The owner was super-responsive by email and gave recommendations for rafting and jeeping companies we ended up using during our stay. It was hard to leave and I hope we will be able to return. Excellent in every regard, including the very reasonable nightly cost.

  WOW! WHAT AN AWSOME PLACE! We only stayed for one night. Wish it could have been more. Our children were even wishing we could stay longer. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THIS PLACE! Lots of space, very well appointed and everything is brand new! Skip the hotel and stay here!

  Our family of five met up at this vacation house for the weekend and agreed it fit our needs perfectly. Nicely furnished, comfortable furniture and extremely comfortable beds, kitchen well stocked with utensils, sparkling clean throughout, and right in the middle of town. The owners, Jim and Sheryl Atwood, were a pleasure to deal with through the rental process. Great value for the money, highly recommended.
