Lou, Thanks so much for sharing your lovely home. We had plenty of space for our 6 adults and 6 kids and the air hockey and pool tables gave the kids an extra source of entertainment. Lounging on the spacious deck overlooking the lake was heavenly!

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This is by far the best view on table rock lake. The moment we arrived we knew we chose the right home to spend our vacation. The house is so spacious and there was plenty of room to entertain the whole family. Everything we needed, such as grocery, gas, and restaurants, was within a few minutes from the house. We can't wait to go back again next year!

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Lou Well we are back home from our Missouri trip and we had a great time. Your house was wonderful and worked out great for our family. We stayed in the "Getaway" the week after the Fourth of July and had a blast! We had 2 families with a total of 8 adults and kids and there was plenty of room. The girls stayed in the upstairs room and the boys set up fort on the loft. We easily could have invited another family since we didn't even use 2 of the bedrooms. The view from the deck was fantastic and was very relaxing while grilling out as well as in the evenings after long days on the boat. The card table and pool table in the basement were put to good use by the kids as well as the grown ups and provided us a nice place to just hang out. The walk to the boat was short and the boat slip proved to be invaluable. I would strongly recommend this house for any size family or multiple families...You won't be disappointed. Last but certainly not least, Lou was wonderful to work with and very hospitable.

This house is AWESOME with a beautiful view overlooking the lake. We had 8 people in our party and there was way more than enough room! This house provides many options to keep everyone busy and has enough room to get away from everyone if needed :-) We brought our Wii along with the Rock Band equipment and hooked it up to the Big-Screen TV which provided everyone with another activity to do while we were there. Boat slip is a great option and convenience which is just a short stroll down the hill. We will definitely stay here again, Lou is Awesome and everyone (neighbors, residents, etc.) is extremely friendly and polite. Keep in mind that everything closes at 7pm in Shell Knob so plan accordingly; believe that the only thing that was open on Friday night was the Jug N' Plug which had just about everything that you needed except for food; only jerky and crackers. Also remember that this is a residential area so no fireworks after 11pm :-)

This is the third time we have rented this house. This is the perfect house for our blended family of 6 kids. Plenty of room and activities away from the lake including a pool table, ping pong table, card table...etc Don't miss the view from the porch while you are laying in the hammock. This part of the lake is so beautiful...just far enough from the hustle and bustle of Branson but close enough to still be able to visit. Kings River marina is not far away and an awesome restaurant (Steak Inn) with great seafood and steaks just a mile away. Just a little piece of heaven away from home. We will be back again........definitely.

Hi, just wanted to tell you how wonderful of a time we had at your house in Shell Knob this weekend,,, My family just raved and raved about it and the view was priceless..... we had such a great time we are going to get together every year now...... We did all the towels up and stripped all the beds,,, just wanted to note that there was stuff in the refrig when we got there.... anything that was left in the door of the refrig was already there...... Lou- I just wanted to say that we had a wonderful time. We loved your place and it worked out perfect for us. My wife spent all of her summers growing up at the Green Cocoon which her parents owned for some time before selling, so we try and make it down to this particular area 2-3 times a summer. With 11 adults we rented both the "Getaway" and the smaller house. We had plenty of room to mingle and play games. We enjoyed the views from the deck and spent a lot of time boat watching. Easy access to getting on the boat from the boat ramp across the lake. Great place to stay

Wonderful house! If I can survive a week here with the in-laws (parents, grandparents, + aunts/uncles), you are going to love it! The layout of the house let’s everyone have their own space and the huge deck was shaded every evening and perfect for our family dinners. The beer fridge and poker table downstairs were a personal favorite of mine. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a getaway to a quiet part of the lake but yet near everything.The nearby golf course was well worth the $32 for 18 holes and you can’t beat how close the grocery store is for all your restocking needs. Pizza Hut docking on the lake! I never tried it but you can’t miss it when driving by.

What an amazing experience! I personally, am not a lake person but after staying the week here at the "Getaway", I'm trying to set a schedule for next year. Having 10 adults and 4 kids, we needed someplace big. And this cabin is all that and more! The game room in the basement provided some very late and fun nights.
