Boulder Crest is an historic 1920’s cabin built on top of great boulders looking over Lake Arrowhead. This is the mountain-cabin fantasy come true - except that it comes with new mattresses, washer and dryer, chrome cookware and all of the things that maintain the romance without sacrificing the comforts.
Boulder Crest occupies a double lot, which allows for privacy, outside recreation and parking for four cars. This beautifully preserved cabin was featured on the Lake Arrowhead Home Tour. Until this year the cabin has never been rented.
The romantic interior is all wood with a large, rock fireplace. It includes three bedrooms (two of which overlook the lake) and two bathrooms. Boulder Crest is ideal for sharing since the “bunkroom”, which contains two double beds built into the pine walls, has its own entrance, bath and deck. There is a queen bed in the main bedroom; a double bed in the guest bedroom; two doubles in the bunkroom, and a queen foldout sofa in the living room. New down comforters and pillows are included for each bed.
The kitchen is fully equipped, including an O’keefe and Merrit stove. There is a barbecue on the very large deck overlooking the lake. Cable TV, VCR, CD player, coffee maker, microwave, washer and dryer are also included. There are two thermostat-controlled furnaces.
This non-smoking cabin, which is within walking distance to Arrowhead Village, also comes with access to the dock on the lake and a pass to the beach clubs. More photos available on request. |
