This was our first trip to the Dominican Republic and we weren't sure what to expect.The only for sure thing that we knew was that we weren't interested in an all inclusive resort. When I saw the photos of this condo online, I told my husband that if it was even only half as nice as it appeared that I would be a happy camper.Well, we were not at all disappointed. It was perfect for us. We made a good deal of use of the lanai. Each morning we had coffee and fresh fruit while enjoying watching the boats come and go. In the evenings we would sit on the lanai and enjoy a glass of wine and watch the moon come up. The condo was always a nice place to retreat to after a "hard day" of lounging on the beach.The grounds are very well kept and you are only a short walk away from the ocean. I would highly recommend it and it's location ( the Aquamarina ) to anyone who is interested in a laid back experience.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.
