The unique A-frame architecture creates a warm setting and easy flow between common areas, to gather and make wonderful family memories. The upside down floor plan features a large second floor great room with a cathedral ceiling and windows galore. The result is space, light, and a wonderful place to relax! The fully equipped kitchen opens to the living and dining areas. Enjoy ocean views even while preparing a meal! Sliding glass doors surround the room, adding to the open feel and lead to an oversized wrap-around deck with incredible ocean and sunset views in multiple directions! A newer ductless air conditioning system keeps the whole area cool and comfortable.
The spacious deck has ample seating to entertain family and friends or just to enjoy a quiet view of the beach and stars. The shaded gathering area below the deck is a great place to enjoy a cool breeze as you watch people walk to and from the beach.
The sleeping accommodations are ideal for an extended family. The first floor has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and folding crib and the other with three twin beds and an optional cot. This level features slate floors and a casual den that's perfect for games, TV, a kid's playroom or a teen hangout. There is also a full-sized laundry room on this floor. The master bedroom on the second floor features a king bed, in-suite bath, walk-in closet and spacious rear deck with its own ocean views! The third floor loft is the best kept secret with a queen bed, walk-in closet, in-suite bath and private balcony with expansive ocean view! All four bedrooms feature window air-conditioning units.
Additional amenities for your convenience include WiFi, cable TV, DVD/VCR, BBQ grill and two driveways for extra off-street parking.
When it's time to hit the beach, being the second house from the beach means just a few steps to carry your gear! Several sand chairs are included for your use. This is a 'lifeguard street' and designated 'rafting beach' for extra fun in the ocean. The nearby bird sanctuary means fewer homes on this exclusive South End of the island and fewer crowds on the beach. At the end of the day, the enclosed outside shower is the perfect spot to wash the sand away.
This is a quiet neighborhood and a home which we enjoy ourselves and thus minimum rental age applies. Come and enjoy beautiful Stone Harbor, which was fortunate to escape the hurricane without any damage!

About the owner: A cheerful NJ family who loves to share their buccolic setting and welcoming home, with respectful visitors who seek comfort & serenity. Located in the quiet, family oriented, south end of Stone Harbor, where the soft white sand beaches are manicured daily and one can find solitude, but remain within walking distance of restaurants, quaint shops, and all that the Jersey Shore has to offer!
Why the Owner Chose Stone Harbor:
Our family started vacationing in Stone Harbor in the early 1970's. Grandma and Grandpa purchased a sequence of homes where we all grew up in a much simpler and slower era-- crabbing, shell searching, riding our bikes to the arcade, hanging on the beach watching people and playing pick-up volleyball, surfing, traveling to nearby Wildwood for boardwalk rides and nightlife and Cape May for their phenomenal gourmet restaurants and spa. We particularly appreciate the many nearby playgrounds, zoo and multitude of activities planned by the Boro of Stone Harbor nearly every weekend.
Now as adults, we are fortunate to continue the tradition and lifestyle of a simpler time. We also maintain many of the life-long friendships we formed in Stone Harbor over the years. We greatly appreciate the family-oriented and safe atmosphere. The south end of the island is much more quiet and serene with less-crowded beaches, which we love. Our home is all about the view, the sun, the waves, the breeze and family. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do and can make Stone Harbor your home away from home as well! Welcome to the family!
