We spent three nights at this charming corner home in PML. Kitchen was equipped with all the appliances, cookware and the basic necessities, you need to make a quick meal or an elaborate dinner. The owners thought about everything including shampoo, conditioner, soap, plenty of extra bath and hand towels. This house is perfect for indoor entertainment with Foosball table, board games and cable TV. This is located in a beautiful gated community, which is ideal for walks, swimming, boating, just chill out at the lake. We would highly recommend to anybody.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

Really enjoyed the location of this house. Only 1/2 hr from the gates of Yosemite. It is in a very nice subdivision at Pine Mountain Lake, about 2 hrs from San Francisco. Boating, swimming (lake or pool), and fishing are available. We especially enjoyed the Rainbow Pool swimming hole nearby. The house was very clean and comfortable.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during our Yosemite vacation. The owner was very easy to work with and very accomodating. We easily slept 8 people. The golf course in the sub division is awesome. I would recommend this house to anyone. The only comments I made to the owner are that wireless internet needs to be added and that the sliding glass doors were hard to open. He promised to address both. I falsely assumed that even without wireless access, I would be able to use my phone with 3G. The only cell service we got was roaming with AT&T and Verizon. We had to drive to the Two Guys Pizza place to get internet access. The pizza is very good too. The cell service comment is true pretty much throughout Yosemite, so it's not a real knock on the house. Also, Groveland could use some variety in restaurants. It's pretty much a good mexican restaurant and 5 pizza places. Thank goodness the kitchen is well stocked. We cooked in one night for some variety. Again, overall this was a great vacation house and we will stay here again if we make it to Yosemite again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

We had a very good time in this home in Groveland. The house is not fancy but well stocked. We were initially a bit put off by the carpet everywhere (even in bathrooms) but it was quite clean and my daughter experience no allegry problems. The house has lots of space and a great deck from which we saw deer daily. Pine Lake is great for kids and Groveland is a fun little town. The owners are very friendly and responsive. I would recommend and return.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+.

Highly recommended property. Big 2-story house, beautiful deck on a corner lot. Great location: about 5 mi inside Pine Mountain Resort entrance. House was really clean & well-equipped, except we had only 7 bath towels for 11 people (5 adults & 6 kids, ages 9 - 17). The washer/dryer came in handy, & we showered in am/pm shifts. The beds in the 2 bedrooms were clean & made on arrival. Fridge was spotless. Rates displayed were a little misleading (for 2 nites, 11 people, rate charged was higher than the highest rate displayed on the website): PLUS tax, PLUS unrefundable cleaning fee, PLUS refundable (hopefully) security deposit, PLUS unrefundable per car Pine Mountain Visitor's pass. (See all the PLUSES?). Then, there was an evelope by the microwave marked "Housekeeping Tips". Really? We left the house spotless, as recieved. Pre--rental communication with owner via e-mail & phone was great. But owner didn't return post-rental call to report towel shortage, washing machine noise & downstairs toilet clog (unable to use on day 2) & NO discount for these incoveniences! Still waiting for security deposit (2 weeks yesterday), but we're optomisitc.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thanks for the review. All the rates quoted to you are as advertised on the VRBO site. The $15/car fee at gate charged by PML Association is now listed along the rates. Sorry you could not reach us, we did not see a message on any of the 3 phone lines. You contacted the cleaners after vacating the home.

We stayed at this home over the weekend when we visited Yosemite National park. Our stay in this home was the best part of the vacation. This home is furnished beautifully. The owners have paid a lot of attention to small details that are important. The kitchen has necessary utensils and basic food supplies like sugar, salt, pasta and water. The rooms have enough beds to accommodate three families. The linens and sheets are always clean. The area surrounding the home is lush and green. The neighbors are friendly and cheerful. We had a great time here. We will definitely go back again and again and again.....Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

We stayed here for 2 nights while on our trip to Yosemite National Park. The entire area is amazingly scenic and beautiful. The security staff at the entrance of the community was very helpful and, upon sensing that we are new here (and it was dark), provided us a print out of directions to the home. The house is on a corner plot which means a wonderful view of the surroundings. We reached here when it was quite dark, we were unable to find the right knob for turning the water On. After struggling for a bit we chose to reach out to one of our neighbours who had their lights on, we were totally put at ease by the welcoming neighbour. As our cellphone had zero network she even gave us her cellphone to call the owners and ask. The owners were very cooperative and directed us to the right switch and we instantly had water. The house is amazingly well furnished and has every utility item: Washing Machine - Dryer, Refrigerator, Gas, Microwave even spare Dishes. The Television sets (2) were almost new with so many Cable Channels. They also had DVD/VCR player etc. All three rooms are comfortable and well furnished. The restrooms (2) are good and spacious. The Patio gets ample sun light in the morning and is an ideal place to stretch out and read or to simply relax. The neighbourhood is very calm and in the mornings one can see Deers hopping around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would like to come here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

The property is a very roomy house and we enjoyed a great trip to Yosemite. We are a pretty big group and the house fits all 10 of us comfortably. The kitchen is well equipped although we didn't have much time to cook. The gated entrance is a bit hard to find as we got lost once, but overall it's a great experience.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway.
