This newly remodeled Ranch Cabin is surrounded by a grassy common area. The unit has 2 bedrooms plus a loft, and is located close to the Ranch Cabin Pool. Perfect for families. This units is rented through the Sunriver Lodge Program. Due to recent changes in the rental program, the lodge allows owners to advertise and make their own rentals, in addition to those booked through the lodge reservation system. The bottom line is, you get a better deal going through me, the owner. Understand the difference renting a vacation rental that is a part of the Sunriver Resort program. With this unit, you get all the resort amenities, such as acess to the Sage Spring Spa, in addtion to the high quality standards the lodge is known for. The Resort employs a strict rating system and requirements. This guarantees that you will find the unit in clean condition with everything functioning. The front desk is open 24 hours, so you have 24/7 access/assistance and such. There really is a difference between vacation rentals ....'The closer you look?.. the better we look' . There is some very well disguised 'Junk', listed out there, why risk your vacation going with an unknown. This property is rated 3 dimonds by the Resort.

The place has a very cozy cabin-like feel, while still being modern. It's without a lot of the kitch you often find in rentals. The kitchen was well-stocked and tastefully remodeled. The cabin was a perfect place for two families to meet up for a winter vacation. The owner definately had families in mind... our kids found the sleds and took them out for some snow play and we noted there was even a bike trailer along with the bikes (which we did not try in the winter.) The owner also provided detailed local recommendations to help make our stay even better, and was very flexible to accomodate our schedule. The kids loved sleeping in the bunk bed loft (actually an anteroom to the upstairs bedroom,) while parents had their own bedrooms/baths with quality mattresses. When we arrived, the place was immaculately clean (no pets allowed,) and thoughfullly, housekeeping had the heat turned on in preparation for our visit. The resort management was super-attentive, even delivered us fresh towels to the pool while we went for a swim at the SHARC. I'd recommend the cabin highly, but not during New Year's. (That's only because we might try to come again next year!)Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

About the owner: I love to canoe and fish. In the winter my family can Ski from the back door of the cabin. I built an homebuilt airplane and frequently fly across the Cascades to Sunriver, why I keep bikes at the cabin.
