    This condo is not only well appointed especially for the price point, but the mattressess were actually very comfortable, too. Because of the condo's position on the 6th and top floor of the building, you get a decent view of both the bay and the Gulf of Mexico from the balcony. Parking was ample and never a problem and restaurants and convenience stores were well less than a mile away. The pool was quite small for the number of condos but the dock overlooking the bay was great for fishing and relaxing. Although the condo can sleep six, it only has two bedrooms and requires a blow up matress or convertible beds to truly accomodate six. However, it still is a keeper and I definitely would return!

    We have vacationed in SPI over the past 15 years and we love to stay at the Galleon Bay. The location is excellent for us since we love to windsurf and kiteboard and we usually go to the North flat or launch from Phillips' store which is walking distance nearby. The condo is like a home and is quiet. The covered parking is convenient.

    Fishing pier was great nice big lights. Condo is exactly like the pictures in the advertisement. Condo was very clean. Beach view and bay view was great. Birding and convention center nearby. Enjoyed our stay very much. Condo owners kept us informed before the arrival time and were very nice to work with. Hope to stay here again in the near future.

    My wife and I recently stayed for a week, beginning Oct. 21, 2012, at this location on South Padre Island. We were both impressed with how clean and comfortable the condo was. The location is convenient to the amenities that South Padre has to offer. There is a lighted fishing pier for enjoyable nightime or daytime fishing. The owners made themselves available in the event that there been any issues that needed to be addressed. There were none. My wife and I were so impressed with the location, that we plan to make this an annual trip.

    My wife and I had a great four day mini-vacation. The condo is set up very comfortably. Everything was very clean and ready to go. From the balcony you get to enjoy both the gulf and the bay. The pier was very large and well lit for night fishing. It was a great time and we plan on doing it again soon.

    This is one of the best places me and my family have stayed at in a while. Clean relaxing and very comfortable. Evon was very nice and careing. We will defenitly be dealing with Evon more often.

    This was a very nice place to stay. My husband and son both fish so having the docks, this was perfect for them. Pool was also a nice place to cool off. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a nice place to stay.

    We had great time staying here, the place is very nice, clean, very peaceful and relaxing. Being able to walk down to the pier or just sitting on the balcony watching the fish jump, it was great. We have decided that we much prefer bayside to beach front. Thank you for being so friendly and welcoming. I have already recommended you to several others!

    We spent a week in this condo and loved it!! It is large enough that it would be comfortable to live in for any amount of time. The bed in the master bedroom is extremely comfortable and was so nice to retire to after a full day of adventures.The balcony is enormous with plenty of room to hang out and look at the gulf or the bay as you can see both from it. Both of the bedroom windows face the gulf and you have a wonderful view from the 6th floor. The kitchen is large with plenty of room if you want to cook in. There is a large laundry area in the condo making it very easy to wash your stuff after a day at the beach or out on the boat. Both bathrooms are large with plenty of room for you things. Everything is close by and the area of the condo is very quiet. We had our boat there with us and it was very nice to have the boat dock right there. The lights at night make for great fishing and there is a nice cleaning area if you are the type to keep what you catch. There is a great place to bbq while overlooking the bay. We will definitely be staying here again. I would tell you it isn't such a great place to keep it our little secret but that would just be wrong!! It is amazing!!!!!!! You can't go wrong.

    Last minute vacation was able to reach owner same day as rental date; they had a last minute cancellation and it worked out for all parties involved. The condo was great, had everything you would need including beach towel and chairs. The pictures do not do it justice. The view from the balcony was great and watching the boats go by at sunset was nice. It is a hidden gem.

    Upon arrival, the condo was very clean and spacious. The pictures in the advertisment were accuretly describing the condo. The condo was perfect for my family and the condo had everything my family needed. From swimming to boat slips to comfort, this is a must place to see. The rental experience with the owners of the condo was great! I strongly recommend this condo to anyone. I will surely be back. Thank you for the great experience!

    The listing photos, although accurate, do not do this property justice. The inside of the condo was spacious, the bedrooms were comfortable and everything was very clean and neat. The bedrooms had great views from the windows and the beds were nice and had comfortable linens. The kitchen was large enough to comfortably prepare food and cook and had plenty of standard tools equipped. As nice as the interior of the condo was, I could've spent the entire time sitting on the balcony and would not have been disappointed. You can see the ocean across the Island, but the show stopper is the unbelievable view of the Bay. During the day the shallow water is beautiful, and at night the lighted boats cruise by and you can see the causeway lit up. I saw a dolphin swimming 20 feet from the dock one morning, unbelievable! The complex as a whole was very clean and well-maintained. I was surprised how quiet the condo was even though it seemed relatively full. I can honestly say that I did not hear neighbors one time, even though I knew they were there. The picnic area on the docs was always clean and very enjoyable. We used the barbecue pits almost every day and the kids enjoyed fishing off the docs. The docks and picnic area are also the place to be at sunset. The sunset views over the Bay that we experienced were as good as any pictures you could find on the internet. The pool and pool area were larger than I expected from the pictures. Some people in my party initially preferred looking for places on the beach, but the beach is very close and access is easy. I really feel that being on the Bay was well worth the 3-5 minute walk to the beach, which we did multiple times a day. We had some of our friends over throughout the week for sunset dinners who were renting on the Island and the consensus was definitely that we had the best place (sounds like bragging, but true). They could not believe the views and the entertainment value of the picnic area, fishing piers and docks. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family and will not stay elsewhere when I return. I just hope that everyone doesn't catch on and make it a too competitive to rent!

    We stayed for the 4th of July week and had a great time. The condo unit itself is perfect, very clean, well-maintained and with a great view of the bay from the balcony. The complex is also very good, eventhough we were there during a very busy tourist week it was very quiet and well maintained as well. The boat dock/fishing pier is an added bonus allowing you to do some fishing or just relax by the bay. All of the Island attractions were no more than a few minutes from the condo. I would highly recommend this unit to any families or couples looking for a great place to enjoy the Island, whether it be for a month, a week or just a weekend.

    My family and I had a wonderful week we like this condo because of the fishing pier and the location we have stayed here before but not in this unit we found it to be even better than the pictures it has everything that you will need with alot of personal touches which made it nice we will stay here again we really loved this unit the view is great and its very quiet at night so that was a plus as well.

    We loved this place, and will definitely be coming back. The beach was 2 minutes away. The kids could be swimming in the pool w/ mom, while I fished, all while still being able to talk to each other. The condo had everything you needed down to koozies for your adult beverages. Just stop at HEB on Port Isabel to get food and you are set. GREAT for families. Thank You.

    The condo was exactly as described. It was in great order and very clean. Very comfortable beds , we could tell the owners really take care of the place. It was nice that the 2 rooms are really like their own little apartments separate from each other which makes for privacy. Loved sitting on the balcony with our coffee in the morning. Really enjoyed the stay. . This end of the island is so laid back and peaceful but definitely not out of the way. It's in a great location with only a few blocks away for the main entertainment area. Thanks for a nice stay!

    My husband and I spent the first week of April in this condo and it was the perfect home away from home. We windsurf and were able to walk to where we rented equipment and sailed almost in front of the condo. The unit was very clean. Everything we needed for our stay was supplied. We spent evenings on the balcony watching the sunset - very relaxing. While the condo is located in a very quiet area it is still very close (walking distance) to good restaurants as others mentioned. We spent most our time on the bay side but when we wanted to take a walk on the ocean it was also only a short walk away. The condo certainly met all our needs. If available, we will want to stay there again when we return to SPI.

    We are just finishing up our second week in this condo and it has truly been in a home away from home experience. The first thing we noticed was how clean it was and then how roomy. We were two couples who take many trips together and this condo has been the best! Well-equipped, great views (love the balcony), and almost perfect weather for the entire stay. We have decided we could stay here for 2-3 months and be quite comfortable. Even though our second week has been Spring Break, we were in the absolutely best location on the island with very little disruption. We will definitely try to return in the not so distant future.

    We enjoyed a week on South Padre in February. We loved the location on the top floor with views of the ocean and the bay. Very comfortably furnished. Comfy beds and plenty of closet space for a longer stay if required. Great hot tub, a bit too cold to enjoy the pool. Overall good value. We would recommend it highly! So many great restaurants close by.

    Although we were only able to stay for 3 nights, we felt right at home in your fantastic condo. Very clean and neat just as stated & the beds are totally comfy. Got great sleep each night and witnessed wonderful sunrises every morning from the balcony. We were wanting for nothing - you even furnished great weather (much appreciated)! Would highly recommend this condo & would love to come back again. Thanks for a pleasurable stay!

    Thank you for sharing your beautiful Condo with us, we had a great time there. The Location is great, and the view of the bay and the ocean was breath taking. The photos of the rental are very accurate and reflect the rental's appearance and amenities. The condo was very clean and well maintained.     My kids wanted to go fishing on the island for the weekend and we rented this beautiful 2 BR/2BA condo. The unit had everything - pillow top mattresses, stocked kitchen, flat screen TV's with DVD players, washer/dryer, covered parking garage and balcony with chairs to enjoy the view of the calm bay. The kids also enjoyed the boat dock and fishing pier and we even fished off the pier in the back of the condo. We had family meet us for lunch on Saturday and everyone was impressed with the condo. My sister, an attorney, and my cousin, an anesthesiologist, came over for lunch and both asked for the contact information and will be making their own island plans to stay at Galleon Bay. My kids do not want to stay in hotels when visiting the island and we will now look for this condo in the future. The owners were great and even drove out on a Friday evening to give us the keys. On behalf of my kids and family, thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful condo. We look forward to another visit in the near future.

    Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to stay at Galleon Bay. We really enjoyed our stay... the boys had a blast! I think we have found our new favorite place to stay. Hopefully we will be allowed to return. We had one family over for breakfast and a different family ove for dinner. They were all envious and could not stop commenting on how cool your place was.

    We truly enjoyed our time at the beach, and we loved staying in your condo. The location was great, and we were able to get everywhere we wanted to go with ease, both on foot and in our car (short distances). The views from the balcony were great, and we enjoyed relaxing on it after a long day of relaxing at the beach!
