Relaxing on the wraparound porch, grilling out on the back deck, drinks on the roof deck, this house provides amenities that make it the perfect vacation house. My wife's grandfather built this cottage in 1937, one of the earliest on Wrightsville Beach. We completely modernized it in 2001. It truly is a slice of heaven.

The weather was as perfect as the the cottage. The wraparound cottage is really more like a home with an amazing huge porch. Lots if interesting items to look at in the home. We spent most of our time relaxing on the porch and on the roof deck. I loved the outdoor shower after spending time on the beach. We loved watching the people walking up and down the street, very entertaining. My family and I will certainly come back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers.

About the owner: I moved from our town house, to this beach house, after my wife died. I have been loving the beach life for several years. I thought maybe I would go see a bit more of the rest of the world. So, when it is not rented I live here. That makes it a very homey vacation cottage.
Why the Owner Chose Wrightsville Beach:
Wrightsville Beach is an ideal vacation location (as many North Carolinians already know). There are no water slides, nor mini golf courses. It is an unspoiled family beach, where people come to visit the sun, the sand, the water and each other.

Truly this is little beach town, and this beach cottage are as relaxing and fun as life gets. You can not put your shoes on the whole time that you're here, or get dressed up and dine in restaurants that are on par with any. Whether you want to shop or beach, Wrightsville is a awesome.
