Raccoon Ridge is located in the beautiful Hocking Hills, one hour southeast of Columbus, Ohio. This is the crown area in Ohio, where the glacier stopped in the last ice age and dumped huge boulders and flora and fauna found nowhere else in Ohio. The beautiful hills, rock outcroppings, waterfalls, and caves are amazing. The blazing color in autumn, the dogwood covered hills in spring, the cool of the hemlock pines in summer and the towering icicles of winter will reinvigorate you with the wonders of nature.
The property is 46 acres of woods with a private lake stocked with catfish, bluegills, and bass. Sunset point, on the crest of a hill, is a great place to enjoy the beautiful sunsets or the blazing night sky. Float on the dock or hike the trails or cuddle by the fire, after a soak in the hot tub, of course.
You can spend the days exploring the many natural wonders of the nearby Hocking Hills State Park, Lake Logan State Park, Clearcreek Metro Park or Wayne National Forest. It is also wonderful to curl up on the deck with a good book. Whatever you do, an unforgettable time is in store for you! No Smoking, Please!
