Located on the 8th floor, center of building away from elevators for privacy and quiet. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, garbage disposal, dishwasher, washer and dryer, Wireless Internet in condo, CD/DVD, TV in every room, and a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean. 5 beach chairs for your enjoyment. Linens & towels are provided. There is an on site mini mart and Scooby’s sandwich, bar and ice cream shop, open seven days, morning to night. Enjoy the extensive amenities, which include a full exercise room, Hot Tub, 4 pools including indoor and outdoor heated pools, indoor and outdoor kiddy pools with mushroom waterfall and bubblers, fun 170 ft lazy river. All pools with beautiful views of the beach and the ocean! Relax and sun on a complimentary chase lounger at the spacious pool deck or beautifully kept lawn areas overlooking the colorful beach activity and Atlantic Ocean - only footsteps away. We are 10 minutes from the airport. Driving, park your vehicles, up to 2, with additional off lot parking, in one of five covered floors or 6th floor open parking garage. Exit the garage into comfortable enclosed hallways. During the winter months, you can leave your condo, take an elevator to the bottom floor and access the beautiful indoor: pool, kiddy pool, winding lazy river with rafts and fitness center without ever stepping outdoors! Tennis and basketball courts are also available at a public park within walking distance of the Grand Atlantic.

I would like to express how much I enjoyed my stay at the Grand Atlantic. This unit was perfect. Very nice and quiet this time of year. The room was spacious and is perfect for 2 couples or 1 couple and children. The room was very clean and had all the amenities I needed for my home away from home for the week. I highly reccomend, I don't think anyone will be disapointed. This condo was a big disappointment. It was supposed to be a non-smoking unit but it was not!!! Upon our first entering the condo the scent of cigarettes hit us in the face! The mgt company attempted to rid the condo of the smell by using a smoke bomb but it did not work. The smoke was imbedded in the condo. My family and I fought allergies the entire week we were there. I will never rent from this owner again. If I see/hear that Condolux is in any way managing a condo, I will definitely stay away! If you are a smoker then this wouldn't bother you. However, non-smokers BEWARE!!!Owner response: Hello Sherita, I apologize for any inconvenience. Yes, Grand Atlantic is smoke free. I agree, it is a shame that one person must disregard the respect and comfort of another. I understand Condolux did respond to your needs but unfortunately their efforts did not meet you expectations. Since your stay, my condo has been cleaned thoroughly of all tobacco.

Overall, the unit and property were nice. Not over the top, but nice. It was pretty crowded in Myrtle during this time period, but I suspect that it is that way every year during peak season. One complaint about the building/property is that they do not have enough elevators to accomodate the number of rooms in the building. There were long waits to get up and down, particularly on check-out and check-in days. One other small complaint is the covered parking areas spaces are pretty tight, especially if you have a bigger vehicle (who doesn't when they are taking the family on vacation). Other than that, things were really pretty good. I would probably go back, but I don't think I would go this time of year because of the crowds and traffic. Perhaps off-season would be a better time.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We have rented this condo for the last 2 yrs for Feb and March and are renting it again next year (2013). There are a lot of shopping, restaurants, and attractions nearby. The owner keeps this condo very clean and has it decorated nicely. The building and grounds in which the condo is located are very well kept. Parking is very easy in the attached parking garage. We enjoy this condo very much.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.
