ENJOY OUR SPECTACULAR VIEWS of the gulf from the southwestern facing 22 foot lanai in Sundial East Q205. New owners since April 2011, our goal is to provide you with a quality vacation that is stress-free and entertaining. This 3 bedroom, 2 full-bath unit is priced to be competitive with the 2 bedroom units, so whether you want 2 or 3 bedrooms, this could be the unit for you! Our calendar is almost always up to date so if it appears free for booking, it most likely is.
Sundial Q205 is very spacious and newly redecorated with an abundance of afternoon light bringing the outdoors inside. It has a breath-taking view overlooking the pool out onto the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico and southwestern sunset skies. Being one unit from the beach and one floor walk up (elevator also available), it is a hop, skip and a jump to the beach and pool.
We are located in the exclusive Sundial East complex of privately-owned luxury condominiums, located directly along the Gulf of Mexico on Sanibel Island. The building surrounds a lush tropical courtyard, anchored by a center pond and fountain, beachside swimming pool and dune walkover just a few steps from Sanibel's world-famous shelling beach.
Our vacation home is family friendly, furnished with fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, 4 TVs, DVD & VCR players, stereo, movies, games, books, a high chair, travel crib. We also provide sand toys, beach chairs and unbrellas conveniently located in the ground-level storage unit.
The condo has a King bed in the master bedroom, Queen bed in the guest, 2 Twin beds in the 3rd bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The spacious living room features tropical decor with 2 new colorful sofas and chair, plenty of seating and comfort for the whole family. A new 53 inch wall-mounted TV is provided for your entertainment. New rugs adorn the recently polished tile floors. We've added an oversized wall mirror that reflects the gulf and gives an even more roomy feel to the large, square living and dining space.
The dining area has newly upholstered chairs and is open to the living room. Kitchen and bathroom cabinets were recently refaced with new white raised panels, and sliding interior drawers. Corian was recently polished for a bright and clean look. A kitchen counter bar with 3 tropical stools separates the dining area from the kitchen. The Hunter Douglas shades and 6-pane sliding glass doors open wide to reveal the new Tommy Bahama lanai furniture and the gulf view.
The master bedroom contains new Hunter Douglas shades and new carpet and tropical designer Croscill bedding, as well as art from local artists and beachy furniture. The roomy master bathroom has luxurious new granite counters and tile floors. One newly-carpeted guest bedroom was re-furnished with new queen bed, tropical bedding, dresser/mirror, a wall-mounted flat screen TV, and new plantation shutters. The second guest bedroom offers new colorful twin beds and designer Laura Ashley bedding, tile floor with new tropical rug, and new plantation shutters.
As a guest at Sundial East Q205 you have free access to 4 gulf-side heated swimming pools, BBQ grill, Cable TV, High Speed WIFI, local telephone and miles of white sandy beach to explore. (For our returning guests, our rental is not part of the sundial beach and golf resort. That is a separate facility, with separate amenities.)
Sanibel Island is world famous for its pristine beaches, fabulous shelling and sensitive approach to conservation. Over 65% of the island is conservation land, including Ding Darling wildlife refuge & Bird Sanctuary, and over 12 miles of beach and 26 miles of biking and hiking trails. No building is over 4 stories tall. Enjoy the many adventures from sea life excursions & sunset cruises and charter fishing. Visit the Bailey-Matthews shell museum to learn about the wonderful shells you have collected. Golf and tennis courts are also available on the island.

Royal Shell Vacations manages our unit at Sundial East Q205, so check-ins are simple and help is always available for whatever your needs are. Your wish is their command. And of course, we are available as well to help you have the best vacation you can possibly have.
Rentals are by the week. Check-in is on Saturday at 3PM. Check-out is on Saturday at 10AM, unless you are staying longer than a week. There is a one-time charge of $35 for booking fee, plus a Damage Waiver fee to protect you in case of accidental damage (2.5% of Base Rate, which is $35 for a $1520 Rate). Sales tax is 11%.
Complete Royal Shell terms and Conditions will be sent with confirmation and should be read carefully. Travel Insurance is optional and available without pre-existing conditions until last payment or 30 days prior to arrival, whichever comes first. We had a totally positive experience in this condo. It is immaculately clean and well appointed, with a great view and inviting decor. The owner is very responsive to tenant concerns, and a lot of loving care has obviously gone into her efforts to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere. When we go again, we will definitely stay here.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful time! The condo was perfect. The condo was very clean and had a great view. The owners have been wonderful to work with. Everything was inviting. We plan to rent again. We weren't ready to go home. :) Definitely would recommend staying here!Recommended for: Girls getaway.

We have a twenty year history of renting at various condo complexes on Sanibel Island and this is the nicest condo we have rented over that span of time. Unfortunately, many condos in the area have not been updated (kitchen, bath, decor), however this is not the case with Sundial Q205. It is very spacious with a beautiful view of the gulf, pool and grounds. The furnishings are lovely and the unit is immaculate. We found the owner to be accessible and responsive to our emails. I would highly recommend this unit and we plan on returning next winter.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I would highly recommend this condo. The decor was beautiful, all the beds were comfortable, and amenities first class. The lanai and access to pool and beach made for a perfect vacation. We had a blast ! Excellent location, amenities, and cleanliness... had fun sailing one day with Capt. Dan and his wife Diane, Salty Sam's Marina, Jetski's the next at Yolo's, lazing in the sun around the pool... DVD movies, family game night.. some fine seafood at local restaurants... over all a great trip.. would highly recommend it and go back again ourselves ! Thank you for making this place available... The condominium was beautifully decorated, well-equipped, comfortable and immaculate, and its location (no more than a few minute walk to the beach) was perfect. The lanai was a great place to gather and relax, both in the morning while we were all having our coffee, and at the end of the day, with a great view of the beach and pool area. Nancy, the owner, was a pleasure to work with, and was extremely responsive in answering all of our questions, during both the booking process and our stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a wonderful vacation we had in Sanibel! This was our first time staying in Sanibel and I can't say enough nice things about the condo. It was bright and spacious for the 5 of us. It had everything to make our stay comfortable. Loved the locker to keep beach chairs and bikes. The LOCATION was key for us and this unit was perfect. The pool and beach just steps away, with a wonderful view of both. We have 3 kids ages, 13,11,and 8 and there was something for everyone. We can't wait to go back and would stay here in a heart beat!! THANK YOURecommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our stay on Sanibel was just glorious because this condo was so comfortable and inviting. There were three generations of the family and each of us found our spot - the pool, the beach, the sun, the shade. The porch is just fabulous! All of our meals with an ocean view! Who could beat it. Having beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, pails and shovels was a godsend. The grandkids looked like prunes from all their time in the pool and the ocean. We collected and sorted our shells on a daily basis. Thanks so much for sharing this lovely spot and beautiful condo!Owner response: Thank you for the wonderful review! We had a wonderful trip in March. The weather was wonderful and the accommodations were great. We were very pleased with the condo as it was set up very nicely for our family (4 children came along). The access to beach toys, umbrellas and chairs was a wonderful amenity. We have already signed up to return again next year. The owners were wonderful to work with and the rental company was very accommodating as well. We are already dreaming of our visit next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

About the owner: My husband and I are part time Sanibel residents since 2008. We fell in love with the island, and each year spend winters here. We are available to help out our guests in any way we can. Please feel free to contact us during your stay.
Why the Owner Chose Sundial:
Sanibel is a very unique island with something for the whole family. It is a mini-paradise, and we believe there is no place else like it in the US. Sundial appealed to us because of its beauty and tropical feel. The units at Sundial are much larger than many of the other complexes. The beach is very peaceful and quiet, and we felt this was a place we could be happy, so it would be good for our guests.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Sundial Q205 has a fantastic view of the gulf, and lots of afternoon light that makes you feel like you are outdoors. The lanai is very large, with lots of room for the whole family. The living and dining areas are very spacious and cheery. There is a storage closet under the unit to keep beach items, and the pool and sandy beach are just outside the unit. We enjoy sitting on the lanai in the afternoon watching the surf and pool.
