From the living room, kitchen, or dining area, an uninterrupted view of the Gulf of Mexico is yours. There is always plenty of room since there are only 58 units in Mariner East, and these are among the widest and largest one bedroom units on Panama City Beach—no crowding at the pool, on the beach, or at the elevator. Being right on the beach, it is easy to run back up for something you might have forgotten or to grab a bite to eat. Should you decide to dine in, all of your food preparation items are provided. When you don’t want to cook, a myriad of good restaurants are close by, as are all kinds of entertainment venues; deep sea fishing, boat and jet ski rentals, parasailing, golf and amusement parks are just a few of the many possibilities. St. Andrews State Park is a couple of miles down Thomas Drive and the new Pier Park shopping and entertainment complex is only a short driving distance away. For those who prefer to fly, the new Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport is just a few miles north of Panama City Beach.
It will be easier to pack for your trip here since we provide hair dryers in each bathroom, four generous beach towels, four beach chairs, a beach umbrella, sand toys, and a small cooler.
Upgrades for 2014: the master bath has a new 5-ft. tile shower with glass doors, and the second bath has a new tub with tile surround and glass doors. Upgrades for 2013 included new plank-style tile throughout the unit, new couch and loveseat, new coffee table and end tables, tv bench, and flat-screen television.
The kitchen has solid surface countertops with undermount sink, a smooth-top range, recently replaced stainless steel microwave and refrigerator with ice maker. All typical small appliances are included. An under-counter CD player/radio/work light is another convenience.
The living room has a comfortable couch (sofa-bed), loveseat, and recliner from which you can watch the new flatscreen television/DVD/blu-ray player or just enjoy that magnificent Gulf Coast view.
The generous dining table easily seats six and is surrounded by mirrored walls which reflect light and the beach view. The mirrors extend the entire length of the dining and living rooms.
The bedroom has two queen-sized beds, a large dresser, a flat-screen television and its own bathroom. A great convenience is the second full bath located off the hallway. Silky sheets and plenty of soft, thick towels make your stay more comfortable. We offer a wide variety of pillows (down alternative, medium, firm, and memory foam) to meet your preference.
A heavy-duty washer and dryer are provided in your own laundry room with plenty of space to store any extra belongings.
The unit has its own wireless network allowing guests to access the internet from any room.
The front door is secured by a hospitality-grade electronic lock system that enables us to generate a different code for every guest, so your code is specific to you and the dates of your stay. No concerns that a previous guest might have access to your unit, and no worries about forgetting your key!

About the owner: Before retiring we were (respectively) a high school teacher/counselor and the assistant director of a Big Ten university real estate department. We brought our own children to Panama City Beach for vacations for many years and now enjoy having our grandchildren visit as well.
