Two Barcelona chairs and a decorator couch offer prime group seating for 5. Another fabulous decorative fireplace with periwinkle blue tile is the centerpiece of the room.

Leading up to the 2nd floor is a stairway with a bank of leaded-glass windows. Bedroom #2 overlooks the front of the house and has a Queen brass bed, 32' flat screen TV, sitting area with
antique 'Love Bench,' decorative fireplace and closet. You can block out the world in this room with wooden shutters and lined, deep wine-colored silk curtains on all 5 windows.
Adjoining is bedroom #3 with a King bed with oversized wood and leather headboard, decorative fireplace, leaded-glass accent window, closet and a 32' flat screen TV.

Renting homes from Southern Belle is painless and professional. We take credit cards and require a $500.00 deposit to confirm the booking which is applied towards the remaining balance. For example, if your total is $3,600, we will take a $500 deposit and your remaining balance will be $3,100. Thirty days prior to your arrival our booking software will charge the balance automatically. We also sell Traveler's Insurance which covers medical, hotels if you get stuck in a city, or trip cancellation for any reason.

I recently rented the Simon for a bachelorette weekend of 14 girls. The house was amazing and perfect. A beautiful historic home with fun modern touches throughout. Every girl in my group raved on what a great job I did choosing this house and said can I pack up and live here? The house was large enough where all of us didn't feel like we were on top of each other, plenty of bathroom space for 14 girls to get ready at the same time and never had an issue of running out of hot water. The wrap around porch was huge and beautifully decorated. We spent a lot of time sitting out there and just chatting. Even though the house is right up against other properties we never once felt like we didn't have our own privacy. The historic district is so close and their are multiple salons nearby for the ladies to pamper theirselves. Plenty of shopping and restaurants within a few blocks! We'd stayed in Savannah before, but never in the center of it all. The Simon is in a perfect location – a quiet street just a few minutes' walk from everything in the historic district. All we had to do was park our cars and walk the rest of our stay. The place itself is gorgeous. We love the blend of the old and the contemporary – bright and bold colors and patterns, delightfully unexpected touches (love the white Barcelona chairs in the sitting area!), and above all, a sense of real uniqueness. This is no cookie-cutter historic home, and we love that! Lots of awesome touches – from the bed linens to the internet nook, it was a delight to stay here.
