  We had a great time in the condo, 3 people mostly but 4 for one week. The condo is very nice however could use some basic updating, such as linens, safety bars in bathroom shower & tub and painting. The view is very nice, looking south and seeing the beautiful landscaping and ocean. The weather was very different this time over, cloudy, rainy, low temps at night and no trade winds at time and then it was very humid. However we still enjoyed being there as we are from the Northwest. The condo is centrally located on the island and we found some very good restaurants; Moncito Mexican, Korean BBQ, Kintaro, Kauai Pasta, Dukes etc. Staying a month gave us time to revisit many places and we are glad they are redoing the Cocoanut Mall. If possible look for entertainer Huanani Kuni, she plays at many venues, Trees & the Marriott in Kapaa. She is very entertaining and gives the history of many songs she sings. All in all a great vacation.

  This wonderful condo is everything it was advertised to be! The location is perfect for exploring all Kauai has to offer, the property was well maintained and absolutely beautiful! We always pick a non-smoking property, as this one is, and that makes a big difference to us. The owner was great to work with, answered our questions promptly and had a new washer and dryer on site within a couple of days when the other one broke (having that in the condo was a huge benefit!). Great service! I will mention the gate to the pool is difficult to figure out on your own. Ask someone there who has figured it out to show you -- and then practice it yourself! Visiting Kapaa while you are there is definitely a must to get the local flavor! Check out the Pono Market, Java Kai, all the farmers markets, bike path, etc. Make sure to also get to the other parts of the island as well to take in all the beauty Kauai has to offer. Snorkeling at Poipu Beach is magical -- there are SOOO many fish! The only area of improvement I can think of is that the condo itself could use a little updating of cabinets, bathrooms, etc. but... that certainly did not detract from our enjoyable stay! We had a trip of a lifetime!

  We had a great time at Lae Nani. Lot's of kids around, great pool, really nice grounds and a nice beach. This is a central location on the island, about equal distance to either the south west or the north west, which is great as you can decide what to do based on the weather. The unit itself is good, could use a bit of updating but it was clean and well appointed, lots of pool toys, a cooler etc all available. The owner was good to deal with and when the washer was broken before we arrived, she let us know in advance and gave us a small credit for our hassle. It's a nice spacious unit, with a good view, and on the ground floor, which is really a must with kids.

  This is a pleasant 2 bedroom condo with window walls looking across the beautifully landscaped property to the ocean. A plaza is within easy walking distant, with clothing and shoes shops, a restaurant and an ice cream parlor with amazing flavours. Two mornings a week local farmers sell fresh produce there in the square. The unit is well-equipped, complete with beach toys and boogie boards. The owners are very helpful, as is the on-site manager who also does the cleaning.

  We were so pleased with the accomodations at this condo at Lae Nani. Location was perfect- Wailua is located mid-way betwen Poipu and Hanalei, so either is just about 1/2 hour drive. The condo. itself is in building three which is diagonal to the beach, so you get a beach view, but not your patio facing directly toward path that runs along the coast, therefore providing a view, but also privacy. Everything you could ask for was available at the condo-beach, pool gear, towels, kitchenware, and the very convenient washer dryer- felt sorry for the people who had to use the laundromat provided onsite. The "quiet hours" are between 10pm and 8am, and it was truly quiet and peaceful- even during the non-quiet hours. There were no lawnmowers or blowers disturbing the peace. There is free Wi-Fi, so bring your laptop for convenience. Condo was clean and up to date. There is no air conditioning, but when louver windows were open, there was a pleasant cross-breeze of the tradewinds, and ceiling fans in all rooms did their job. Will definitely try to get this exact condo again when return to Kauai.

  Well appointed and maintained. The washer and dryer in unit was a big plus! Everyting was provided from pots and pans to ample towels and linens. The beach front location is terrific. The kids never got out of the water. Close to markets, reataurants and shops. Walking to the Coconut Marketplace made for convenient shopping. Other restaurants just a block away were great. Especially the Korean BBQ, tepenyaki and Mexican. Will be back for sure! Great value.

  We had a wonderful time at the Lea Nani and in this 315 unit. The owner could not have been more gracious and accommodating. The setting is just right for a big family group as we had, all in different condos in Bldg. 3. Or perfect for just a family too. The large green space and ocean front make it the perfect setting for rest and fun. The gardens, pool and peaceful locale were just the ticket for our trip. The condo is comfortable and roomy and the washer and dryer were a good addition. The master bedroom with private lanai and view was a special treat. Walkable to Coconut Grove shopping was nice. I would recommend unit 315 highly. Get ready for staggering grocery and restaurant prices in HI so having a full kitchen was great to manage those costs. We loved horseback riding at CJM Country Stables. A lovely drive to the south shore and the guides and horses were great for a group of all experience levels. We did the Smith Luau. Younger children will love it. It is priced high and felt a bit like a Disney attraction but overall, sort of "must do" I guess in HI. The shuttle will pick you up at Lea Nani. Tunnels beach was the perfect snorkel spot on the north shore. Hiking anywhere is fun. Wear shoes you don't care that the red dirt will never come out. Try to get there early at Tunnels Beach. There is a new parking lot that is $10 a car and I would recommend paying it rather than looking for parking. Kauai is now our favorite HI island.
