Great oceanfront cottage newly renovated in spring 2011! Interior completely painted, new kitchen and laundry room built, and all new bedding! New living room furniture was just purchased in 2013. One block from the pier, mini-golf, and the Ocean Isle community center. Two blocks to the kids' playground, Coastal Museum, and free Friday night concerts. Kid-friendly and pet friendly!
You won't want to leave the incredible views from this home! The great room has windows and double glass doors with beautiful views of the beach, ocean, and the pier. There is a large screen tv and dvd player in the great room.
The deck overlooking the beach and ocean has a picnic table so you can enjoy eating outdoors and rocking chairs to enjoy the sights and sounds of the beach.
The kitchen was recently completely renovated with new cabinets, flooring, a new island with counter stools, and new dishes. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a new dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave.
There are two bedrooms overlooking the ocean each with a king bed. There are two other bedrooms each with two double beds in them. All the mattress sets are new in March 2011. Each bedroom has its own tv and two of the bedrooms have dvd players.
The two bathrooms both have stall showers. There is also a brand new outside shower on the walkway to the beach.

We spent our vacation week at the cottage with our small pet. The ocean views were great and it was good to have our pet with us. The kitchen was good and well stocked. However, the bathrooms were especially small, almost unusable. There was a smell coming up from the toliets. The living room furniture was worn out and not comfortable at all Smoke alarm went off when we tried to turn the heat on too. Grass was ankle high in front yard. This was not a good experience for us and we left early.Owner response: We were so disappointed to hear this renter had a less than perfect experience. We did not know until after their stay was over. The living room furniture is 7 years old but we will definitely evaluate replacing it before next summer. This renter arrived 4 hours before check-in and our property manager tried very hard to get them in early. Thus, he had to mow the lawn after they arrived. We have never had a complaint of a smell in the bathroom before or after this renter. The property manager offered to get a plumber to check it out but the renter declined. Admittedly the bathrooms are small as are many of the original beach cottages on the island. We try very hard to give our renters the best experience possible and are always open to suggestions of ways to make the renter's stay more comfortable.

My family and I really enjoyed our vacation at your cottage. The open floor plan with the well-stocked kitchen was great. The beach views were amazing, it was so nice to enjoy the beach with our four legged friends! The only negative we noticed about the rental were the small bathroom sizes, not a lot of room to move around. Overall, the property was as described, great oceanfront location, clean and close to nearby attractions... great 4th of July parade viewing from the front deck.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

My husband and I greatly enjoyed staying in your house this past September. We really enjoyed the bright, open, and airy great room with great views of the beach and ocean. And the new beds are very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything that we could have needed. And we really appreciated your kindness and willingess to accomodate us if we had needed to adjust our schedule due to losing our dear pet the night before our vacation was to start. We had a very relaxing week in your house and collected lots of beautiful sea shells. Thank you for sharing it with us.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
