  If you are looking for anything except what the property is advertised for move on. However, if you want a wonderful vacation in a quaint beach cottage stop right here. It was just as described and very clean. The owner was a delight. Close to everything you could want or need. The view is to die for and it is almost like having your own private beach. Our only problem was we did not want to leave the view during our stay or to go home for that matter. There was a cute restaurant across the street but we were to lazy to go. It was just as a vacation should be quite, peaceful and wonderful. We cannoit wait to go again. It was a girls' vacation and even my picky friend was delighted. Our boys (dogs) enjoyed the view and being out on the deck. WE CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK!

  Santa Rosina Cottage is a place for those who want to relax and enjoy beach life the way it used to be. The cottage is comfortable and has everything you need. The best part of staying here is that you relax in your own place right on the beach. No - Santa Rosina is not a modern home, but it takes you back to a time of kids sleeping on the sun porch and keeping themselves busy on the beach instead of at an amusement park, etc. Santa Rosina is close to dining, and other entertainment, but is a private respite for those who do not enjoy hugh condo's and hotels. We spend time on the beach early in the day and late in the day. Midday, we go site seeing, out to dine, etc. The Sunset Grill is open most days for breakfast and lunch and have really good food. There is a screened porch and a deck ocean side. The grandkids love crabbing at dusk. We love the location, the cottage, and the affordability of Santa Rosina. The owners always check to make sure we had a good trip and ask if everything was OK. This is some of the last true beach cottages in Panama City Beach. We love staying here.

  First thoughts after booking our week came from my daughter when she commented....This is exactly what I want! Wake up to the ocean. Lovely and relaxing….nothing could beat the fact that we could walk out the back door and be on the beach in 2 minutes. My daughter and granddaughter loved finding shells (I believe she brought home 20+ pounds of shells) and building sand castles. Most days it was out in the morning, returning to the house for lunch and relaxing, and back out in the afternoon. Two nights they went out with their headlamps and looked for crabs. My husband and I took walks on the beach in both directions and enjoyed the evening/early morning breezes on the back deck. The rain never is a problem in Florida….never last very long and it gives you a break to do something else (Wonder Works, Ripley’s and SHOPPING)!!! Very convenient location to grocery store, shopping, attractions. Thanks for helping us make memories.

  NOT ONLY HAS MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY STAYED AT SANTA ROSINA, I CLEAN IT. I CAN SAY THAT I AM IN THAT COTTAGE UP TO 3HRS. AT A TIME. EVERY WEEK. I HAVE ONLY SEEN DEAD BUGS. AND NEVER ANY FLEAS. THIS IS A OLDER HOME. THE LAST REVIEW GIVEN,#5289538, CAME IN WHILE I WAS THERE. SHE NEVER COMPLAINED ABOUT A SMELL. SHE WAS UPSET THAT THERE WAS NO WASHER AND DRYER. AND THAT THE WINDOW UNITS WERE NOT COOLING LIKE SHE THOUGHT THEY SHOULD. AS I AM VERY AWARE,TIMES ARE HARD, AND PEOPLE TEND TO SETTLE. BUT IF MY CHILDREN WERE SLEEPING WHERE THERE WERE FLEAS, I WOULD LEAVE, AND ASK FOR A REFUND. THIS PLACE IS EXACTLY AS IT LOOKS. AND ANIMALS ARE IN FACT ALLOWED. BUT PET HAIR IN THE SHOWER IS TOTALLY NOT TRUE. THE FAMILY PROVIDES CLEAN LINENS AS I WASH IT MYSELF. THIS IS NOT A 5 STAR RATING COTTAGE. BUT IT IS CLEAN. COZY, AND INEXPENSIVE. I AM SORRY THOSE GUEST WERE SO UNHAPPY.

  I will state the positives. The location is excellent, beautiful and nearly private beach front. Excellent view of the ocean and beach. I am going to be completely honest about our stay. The house smelled bad, even with the cleaning lady having just left. We were eaten alive by fleas watching tv in the living room and in our beds. Dog hair in the bottom of shower stall and in the sheets/blanket of 2nd bedroom, which leads one to question how well the home is cleaned. Opened the dishwasher to load some dishes and 4 roaches came running out of it, plus a couple ran across the dining table while we were there eating pizza. The photos look much better than the actual condition of the home. The deck furniture is in need of repair, and the wooden landing leading to the beach needs replaced as it seems dangerous to cross...boards have very little support. Lighting on covered porch would not turn on, and there was no other lighting available to light the path from the beach up to the house. We are not very picky people, but we do expect a place to be somewhat decent when you pay someone rent for a week. We were told umbrella and beach chairs available, yet the umbrella was broken and the beach chairs were rusty to the point we were afraid to use them. I do understand that the home is older, but just because a home is old doesn't mean it has to be filthy...and this was. Maybe an issue with the cleaning crew, but I am just stating our experience. I will not be recommending this listing to any friends or family and we will not be returning to this particular rental. I will say that if you stay here, be sure to visit across the street for breakfast or lunch...awesome people at Sunnyside Grill. And make sure to try Thomas Donuts and Montego Bay Restuarant!

  Even though this property is dated, the location and charm of the cottage takes one back to the Florida before condos and high end resorts. If you are looking for a beach all to yourself this is it! The cottage is basic but the view from the screen porch is fantastic. The location is quiet and has private access down steps to a beautiful white sand beach. The water is shallow enough for little ones to enjoy. The cottage has room enough for a family with two updated bathrooms and an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day on the beach. Don't miss St. Andrews State Park!

  I absolutely love this place!! Rosina is on speed dial and considered family to us. We couldn't thank her enough for sharing her family's special place with us. It is always a great vacation...one of our favorite place and as we've said before, we will continue to come here for years as long as Santa Rosina will allow us!!!

  We had a lovely girls' weekend here last month! The house has a great, quiet location with what feels like a private stretch of beach right outside the back door! The owners are very friendly and accommodating! Hope to go back again!

  This family was so super nice during the whole rental process! This house is older but full of character that you wouldn't be able to find in most places. The setting is perfect, quaint, and private. Extremely laid back and was just what we were looking for. It is pet friendly and I mean not pet friendly as in "yes, we're gonna charge you all kinds of fees" but actually PET-FRIENDLY as in yes, "you bring your babies with you because we have our own and understand how important they are"! Beyond great service.....no high-rise or any amount of mondern details could beat this experience!! Hope to go back for years to come!! Thank you Santa Rosina!
