We stayed in this condo for 2 months. The area is beautiful, however, our particular condo was sorely lacking. The manager told us the rules had changed about our dog and my husband's motorcycle trailer afer we were 900 miles from home. The condo was dirty. The towel bar and toilet paper holder were hanging down the wall in the bathroom, which my husband fixed. The dishwasher would not drain most of the time. We had burned out light bulbs that were promised to be brought over to us. The hot water heater leaked. Three of the dining chairs had the rungs missing, which my husband fixed. The sliding glass door screen was bent so we were not able to leave the glass door open because they screen would not close properly. We were told there was a king size bed in the master bedroom, which was only a queen so we had to sleep in 2 different bedrooms because the bed was not big enough. We made many calls and sent many emails to the property manager who assured us things would be taken care of, which they never were. She said she was having people come through to look at the condo to possibly buy it while we were staying there, but at our insistence that only happened once, and they neglected to lock the door when they left. After all was said and done, we were offered our cleaning fee back because we had to purchase cleaning products as soon as we arrived to be able to stay there, which we agreed to because of all the problems we had, but we have never received it. Also, she never even came to the condo to get her money, she sent someone else for it. At past rentals we were welcomed by the property manager and given ideas for restaurants, things to do, etc. Nothing from this lady. Be VERY careful renting from her. Make sure the condo has been repaired and you have everything in your contract concerning the beds, cleanliness of the condo, how repairs are to be handled, etc. We would definitely go back to these condos, but we will NEVER rent from her again.

Owner response: Sorry you had all the issues. I put you in my neighbors unit since mine was already booked - which I explained to you. I tried to get the owner of unit to handle the issues but they were not cooperative and following your emails this was there response - a copy of email. /////Angela: I don't know what this lady is doing..... Tim and I was in the unit a week BEFORE, you asked that this lady needed a place to rent. The unit was NOT dirty, we hire a professional cleaning lady who is as SUPERVISOR at a local Condo unit. The chairs were in PERFECT condition. The dressers were just fine, a loose knob is no grounds for a refund. We were NEVER asked about light bulbs. The dish washer was only 2 years old, and working great. Our cleaning lady uses it when cleaning. Sliding glass door is tight, but has a good screen on it and it closes just fine. I HAD to hire a maintenance guy, who said The knob to the dishwasher was BROKEN, and he could not get a replacement, so I HAD to purchase a new dishwasher. There is NO leak. He thinks the air conditioner may have frozen up, then thawed. She just keeps adding to this list. I still have the email from the first time you sent me information, which was more than a month after she had been in our unit. We feel she is a person who always complains and threatens so never have to pay anything. We are not willing to give any refund and would highly recommend that you NEVER rent to her again.////// I am the middle man in this issues and can only do so much.

Until this point I have had an amazing experience renting on vrbo and anticipated on renting this property for our family spring break get away... At first there was communication with the owners, the condo met our budget, and the reservation was made with trip planned-- all of a sudden the owner says they can't have us anymore because they were unaware of their owners rules at the condo with no pets allowed starting this year. We asked for our deposit back asap so that we could reschedule elsewhere in a short amount of time. Due to the owners notification of the changes in the rental agreement, the communication becoming less and less it took almost two weeks to get our deposit and reschedule in our three week window before vacation. At one point in the two weeks we were asked for the proof of deposit by check number and clearance date because although they were on vacation they couldn't remember or verify our rental agreement per the deposit.

We were here Jan. & Feb. 2011. The location was great. We were looking for a rental to bring our dog and cat, and this place worked out fine. About 2 miles from the Gulf, but a short walk down the property to a pier with views for sunsets, dolphins, & barges going down the intercoastal waterway. We did have a few issues when we arrived (light bulbs out/missing, broken toilet seat, moldy shower curtain, dripping shower, a leak in the refrigerator) but most were corrected right away by the owner via the housekeeper when we asked. The condo's beds were comfortable, but the sofa should be replaced; it sunk down so much when sitting on it, and I'm sure sleeping on it would be impossible. The wireless internet connection was from a neighbor's connection so it wasn't available most of the time; we had to use the public library which was close by or McDonald's across the street.

This condo was very nice and relaxing. It was just the right size for a family of five(3 teenagers). Restaurants, the beach, and shopping malls nearby. 3 minutes from Orangebeach Sports Complex, which our son played at for the World Series Tournament. This is our first time renting a condo. We will definitely try to rent again before looking at a hotel.

Recommended for:Girls getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

Peaceful, Relaxing Getaway

Our family rented the condo for 7 days in June 2011. We totally enjoyed the condo, the pool and the location of this vacation spot. We are already hoping for another weekend soon. The community of other renters/owners we above nice and lovely. We were able to take the family pet along with us which made the trip more convenient and relaxing. Highly recommend this place!

My daughter and I rented this condo for Spring Break and really enjoyed it. We were close to everything and it was pet friendly. There is a dog park right down the raod that the dogs enjoyed. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful time at this condo. It was very clean and fully equipped, including a washer, dryer and dishwasher. The decor was nice and the tile floors were great for our two dogs. The beds were very comfortable. You can get WIFI from this condo. This condo is in a quiet area on Wolf Bay and it is very close to restaurants and the new dog park.Our dogs loved the dog park and it is only about 1 1/2 miles down Canal Rd. from the condo. It was only about two miles to the public beach on the Gulf. This condo would appeal more to middle aged adults than it would college kids. If all goes well, we will come back next year. Nice, relaxing little place

I stayed here last May of 2010...we had such a great time here. It's quiet, and just off the main road - which is nice. It was a nice, clean place & Angela was so easy to work with. It was a great experience. My husband & I would sit on the pier almost every night & watch the dolphins play. I would definitley recommend it. The bed in the master bedroom is rather huge...

Werented this one for 10 nights~~~This place was very clean, freshly painted, and comfortable. Perfect if you want more than the beach,which is only about 2 miles up the road, this is the place to be. Everything is on this street or near this area. From shopping at the Wharf, donuts, wine, cigars, to ice, bait, and groceries are all right here, some you can walk to. Be sure to eat at Cosmo's and the Fishing Camp, where you must ask for Mike! The Zoo, Fort Morgan and Foley are all very near also. When we wanted the beach, we rode to Mobile Street near Fort Morgan, very nice public beach area without all of the tourists! GREAT location!

Recommended for:Age 55+.

The only complaint that I have is there was not a king bed in either bedroom - both beds were queen size and not all the amenities listed on the website were in the unit. Other than that, the I would like to say that the owner was very nice and accomodating. We will definiately book with her again.
