Enjoy sitting on the large deck in the morning and evenings without the very hot and bright Sun at 7500ft in our Mountain Chalet for your Home away from Home. The 3 bedrooms all have their private baths with tub and shower.
We have had three vacation homes in Ruidoso. When we built this one recently, we feel like we have thought of everything to make it comfortable and relaxing for us and our guests.
The main summer gathering place is the 12 X 34 deck which is protected from the Sun and Glare, so you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Forest and Capitan Mountain. There is also a lower 12 X 34 Patio that can be enjoyed if your guests want some quiet time for themselves.
The lower 2 bedrooms with private baths can be entered from the ground level. Guests can unload easily and then come up inside stairs to the main living area.
I could go on and on about our beloved Ruidoso-We hope you fall in love with it too.....
Additional Information: The main living area includes Master Bedroom, Bath, Kitchen, dining room and Living room with the large deck too. There is also a utility room, powder room and attached Garage. This enables you to drive to this level and unload groceries, the master bedroom guests belongings, etc.
The Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking with grill, waffle iron, and all necessary items for a feast. There is small refrigerator in the bar area, perfect for your drinks.
A outside gas grill is on the deck and an outdoor electric smoker that can be used outside of the garage.
All the furniture in the house is NEW and was bought when the house was built.
All the Queen Mattress sets are new and of the highest quality and very comfortable.
Area Info: Summer actives are Hiking, Fishing, Picnics, Spencer Theatre, Horse Racing, Art Shows, Shopping, and dining out but most enjoyable is our Deck.
In the Fall there are beautiful Aspens changing. We love to go the the Cowboy Symposium (2nd weekend in October).
Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's are all beautiful Winter times in Ruidoso watching for first Snow. During this time you can Ski, Snowboard, Tube, Snowmobile, and visit Bosque del Apache (over 100,000 birds), etc. Other nearby day trips include White Sands, Petroglyphs, Mal Paiz, Lincoln-Billy the Kid, etc.
Winter area info: We are only about 1 mile from the Ski Apache Rd to the Ski lifts and Runs. You can enjoy many hours of fun just doing your thing at the top of the mountain with snow every where..........After skiing there are three casinos for more fun and of course the downtown shopping area. Don't forget the great restaurants for you best meals.........

We spent this past spring break at this gorgeous mountain home! This home has such a warm, friendly atmosphere. It was a perfect family get away! We spent a lot of time just sitting out on the deck looking at the beautiful views. We watched the sun rise and also the sunset from the lovely deck. Our girls watched deer on the driveway and even got to feed them the deer pellets. We also enjoyed skiing at Ski Apache which is very close by! We will be back for sure! You will not regret staying at the Fuller's Cabin. Our stay was wonderful and I hope to have the opportunity to visit again. The views are amazing, each room is beautifully appointed and comfort is paramount. It is very peaceful and yet you are close to town, skiing and any other activity you choose. When we first walked into the cabin our first reaction was "wow". It was so open, bright and cheerful as well as being very clean. We were immediately drawn out to the beautiful deck. My daughter named it "the deck from Heaven"! Needless to say, we spent as much time on it as possible. It was also wonderful to have such a complete & modern kitchen with everything one could possibly need. And having three separate bedroom suites, each with their own complete bathroom was a real plus. We also enjoyed watching all the deer every day. It truly is a little bit of paradise. My family and I had a fantastic stay at the Fuller Cabin. The accommodations were wonderful and the views were spectacular. Weather, home owners, and house were great! The house was very clean and organized. The porch off the main living room was very large and quite accomidating for entire family. We did have some trouble with the Internet connection, but with the home owners help, we got it fixed pretty quickly.....in the mountains....really didn't need to be on any technology anyway :-) . We will definitely stay at this property again!Recommended for: Families with young children.

I want to thank you and tell you how much my family enjoyed your cabin in Alto. We were there for 3 nights. 07/04, 07/05 & 07/06, 2012. The cabin has a fantastic view, by we were all impressed with the home decor. Y'all have done a terrific job. My wife and daughter were thrilled with all of the pictures and knick-knacks. the deck is the perfect place to watch the sun come up, while enjoying your morning coffee. The deer that were in the backyard were a joy to watch and our two grandsons, ages 8 & 5 were excited everytime they showed up. Wow! We were stunned by this mountain retreat. It's away from the traffic with a fabulous deck overlooking the mountains. The inside is beautifully designed and decorated, and the photos simply don't do justice to the cabin. It was absolutely perfect for our visit and made our family vacation very special. My husband and I travelled with our two adult children and their spouses, so the three bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, were perfect! We could be together when we wanted, yet each couple had their own space. The property was very clean (and I'm a germophobe), well-maintained, and the owners had thought of very creature comfort we needed. We enjoyed watching the deer and wild horses and sitting on the deck watching the sun rise. In the evenings we prepared supper in the fabulous kitchen, ate outside on the deck, and afterwards played a little 42 dominoes. The owners were very helpful, answered all our questions, and addressed our concerns about the recent wildfire. Forget staying in the Upper Canyon - this is the place to stay!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

This cabin felt more like home than a rental. It had everything you could possibly think of, it went beyond our exceptions. The views were wonderful & the deer passing by were delightful. I would positively stay here again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
