This beautiful low country home will take your breath away with its stunning marsh views, Spanish Moss draped live oaks, and peaceful atmosphere. Located on a two and half acre waterfront lot with deepwater dock access to Boyd Creek, this spacious home has six bedrooms and four baths, and enough room to accommodate up to fourteen people! The house is divided, by an indoor hallway, into two separate units each with 3 bedrooms, two baths and their own kitchen, living room and laundry. This unique layout is perfect for groups that want to vacation together but would also benefit from separate living quarters. You will find that there are many useful benefits to this distinctive layout. For example if the kids want to watch one movie but the adults want to watch another or if one group likes to sleep in while the other group likes to get up early they can easily do so without disturbing each other.
The location of this house is truly breathtaking. Take a walk out on the dock and drink in the views of Boyd Creek, the surrounding marsh and over 100 species of birds and assorted wildlife. You can catch such fish as sharks, Cobia, Red Fish, Speckled Trout, and Flounder right off the end of the dock or go Blue Crab crabbing or shrimping in the marsh. There is a boat ramp a tenth of a mile down the road where you can put in your boat. From there you have easy access to the Beaufort Broad River. Also, feel free to enjoy the use of our kayaks and admire such sights as dolphins, beautiful sunsets, and true southern splendor.
For the hunters in your family, this Jasper County home is the perfect fit. Close by are many hunting properties. The local area boasts Eastern Wild Turkey and excellent duck hunting. We also have the longest deer season in the U.S. from August 15th to January 1st. However, If you are looking for a more laid back getaway, we have you covered. Enjoy bird watching or a colorful sunrise from the screened in porch where you can also spend your nights gazing at the stars. Hilton Head offers over two dozen championship golf courses, 100 tennis courts, and over 50 miles of public bike and nature trails. This house definitely exceeded our expectations. The location was outstanding and had a very beautiful drive leading up to the home. Once there the house had everything and more that we could have asked for! We especially loved the amazing dock.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Fantastic location on tidal creek with well-appointed dock and living quarters. Sit on the porch with your coffee and watch the sun rise with brilliant colors above the creek and marsh grass. Take kayaks exploring the local creeks and bird watch or fish. Crab, fish or swim from the awesome dock. Out in the country where you are away from it all but still close to Beaufort and Hilton Head (less than 1 hour) for easy day trips. I highly recommend this relaxing venue.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We have actually used this locations a few times. The owner is very easy to deal with and the location is incredible. Our family enjoyed being on the water and we spent more time on the dock and the back porch of the house than anywhere else. It is very quiet and peaceful and a wonder place to just "get away." I highly recommed this location to anyone looking for a place on the water to relax!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We love going to this house. It is a great place to get away from all of the routine of the regular week and just enjoy nature. The view is fantastic and I could almost live on the porch. It is so relaxing to just be here and enjoy the water and fresh air. It is near Hilton Head and Beaufort which makes it easy to shop, eat out, and fish. Several families can stay here and be together as much as they would like, and then have their own private time with the arrangement of the house. We have come several times with some of our friends and it is always such a treat.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

About the owner: My wife and I reside in Columbia, South Carolina with our five year old daughter. We love traveling around the state and especially enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the low country.

I began frequently traveling to this area through work. As I spent more time working in the area, I decided to purchase a home so I had a place to stay while in the area and a place bring my family for vacations.
