There you arrive at a 2 story cedar cypress and stone guest cottage aprox.1200 sq, feet of air condition space with 2 large porches overlooking the Indian river Lagoon

Excellent fishing right in front.. Close to shopping and a medical center. There is a large pond in front with wild ducks making it their home. Peacocks roam the grounds and seem to ignore the people.

Year Purchased: 1993
About the owner: I am a retired executive who spends most of my time abroad. Not by choice but because my wife has been unable to get a visa to come to the USA. I guess it is because she is a retired doctor and not someone who would be a burden on this country as most who are allowed to come.
Why the Owner Chose Sebastian:
I have lived in Florida all my life. I am from an area of Miami called Coconut Grove. In 1992 I decided to find a property that reminded me of old Florida as my home in the Coconut Grove did.
Things change and the peace and serenity where gone. with high property taxes and crime replacing them.
I searched up and down the coast until I found Sebastian and this magnificent natural setting. I purchased it the day I first saw it in December of 1992 and moved in in 1993.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
I have never thought of leasing out the guest cottage but it seems a shame not to let others enjoy this magnificent property with the peace and serenity it offers.
This is something I have decided to do just before Christmas of 2012.
