Take 157 steps down our quiet cul-de-sac, through the sand dune, and begin your beach experience. It is pristine, solitary, (except for surf fisherman, or beach comber) , undeveloped (no homes on the oceanfront for miles,) and beautiful in every season. …Or walk out the back door to launch your boat from the private ramp or boat slip (most any number or size) into the quiet community deep-water (seven feet) canal.
This SIX BEDROOM-3 FULL BATHROOM, reverse floor plan, three-story home has six ocean, sound, and canal view decks, balconies, and porches offering views of water on all four sides. You will see the wetlands and its wildlife, dolphins following shrimp boats in the ocean (bring your binoculars), and sleek yachts and sailboats gliding up and down the waterway.
Third Floor: Enjoy indoor leisure time with your group around the large, open living area which includes the great room with vaulted ceilings, expansive kitchen-dining room, and SUNROOM-sleeping room (NEW for 2010). Here you can enjoy games, cable TV, movies (VCR and DVD), surround sound Sony Blu Ray HOME THEATER, and stereo music, large group dining and entertaining, high speed wireless Internet activities at the computer station (with computer, monitor, fax, copier, scanner, printer), grilling on the front deck porch, even dancing on the hardwood-like floors present on this level. A LAUNDRY ROOM with washer and dryer and a FULL BATH with shower. (NEW for 2010 ) Floors on this level are laminate with area rugs and ceramic tile (bath and sunroom).
The GREAT ROOM has 1 QUEEN size SLEEPER SOFA and an adjacent SMALL BEDROOM with DOUBLE BED. The bedroom sleeps 2 and is good for children who want to stay up late or an aging parent. There is an ocean view and deck , which is accessible from the kitchen. This floor has a DSL computer and wireless Internet with fax and printer. The SUNROOM has a QUEEN BED (MURPHY) and QUEEN FUTON BED. There is another FULL FUTON BED in the dining area. A GAS GRILL is on the front deck off the kitchen.
The reverse floor plan provides the most impressive views of the environs for bird watchers, nature lovers, and for the curious. Amenities for the very young include a porta-crib, high chair, three baby gates, and a wagon for a ride to the beach.
Second Floor: FOUR BEDROOMS, one with a QUEEN size bed and, one with a PYRAMID-BUNK (one SGL and one DBL.), and a MASTER SUITE with a KING size bed and an adjacent BEDROOM-SITTING ROOM with a QUEEN sleeper sofa and a Rollaway TWIN in the closet. There is a separate hallway entrance or by locking connecting solid French doors. There are TWO full BATHROOMS - one is off the main hallway and one is part of the master suite. All 4 rooms have cable TV, DVD and or VCR.
The master bedroom has a large sound view covered deck with a hot tub and a porch swing. (There is a $120 charge to drain and fill the hot tub from Sep thru May.) It also has cable TV, VCR, stereo, tape player, and tuner.
Backyard: Outside in the back there is a fenced in yard and a swing set and a sand box and a patio-deck with a shaded hammock and porch swing. Beyond is the boat ramp, a fishing dock with picnic table and another play set and mega sandbox (shared with neighbor) big enough for adults. There is a heated enclosed shower.

I love the water and this home is surrounded by water. Iam from a large family who love to vacation together and we use this home every year. We have developed the property so that others may enjoy it as much as we do.iN 2009 WE BUILT THE HOME NEXT DOOR VRBO 222275 ..BIGGER AND BETTER SLEEPS 43 AND HAS A ROOFTOP DECK AND POOL ANS SPA AND STEAM SAUNA!!!!(105 bay ct ) We now bring more family and friends and fill up both homes. The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
We love the sound. There is incredible wild life and beautiful yachts and barges going down the water way in back We dont like to get bored so there is boateng games fishing pool video and quite places with something for everyone.
A highlight for kids,fish for mackeral,see sandsharks and sting rays on the deck. Good North Carolina short order cooking .Tackle shop.
Federal land (New River Inlet)...great fishing,tailgating,dunebuggy,private or communal picnic.

Recently had the opportunity to get away to Topsail Island and had the perfect time while staying at this beach house. They had everything you could think of to make your stay better. This house was not just another rental unit with a "hotel-like" feel. As soon as we were unpacked we felt right at home. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook for one or for a large group. There was no need to go out when we had everything right there. The available space to seat everyone was amazing. The bedrooms were clean and spacious and were just like the photos and details depicted. I was very impressed with the water pressure in the house for it's size and location at the beach. The kids enjoyed the pool and some of the games that the owners provided. The play area is a great place for younger children and the afternoon shade made it perfect for sitting out and sipping a cold drink after a long day on the beach. The top deck of the house had an amazing view and the peacefulness of the area was great. It was about a 25 minute drive into Surf City where we found a great place to eat called Buddy's. I would recommend the Buffalo Shrimp. This was the perfect distance away from the "busy" parts of the beach but close enough to be able to enjoy a larger beach life if wanted. We were very close to the beach and the entrance to the beach was clean and very accessible. This was a very well cared for home away from home and the little touches that went into making it cozy and comfortable were noticable in many areas. Was also pleasantly surprised how well the photos portrayed the house. The Shark store at Sneads Ferry was well equipped for all beach supplies and a new store was about to open accross the street. I look forward to planning a fall trip with others to enjoy this great place and view. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place at the beach. It's a great area, at a great rate, and was very much my home away from home during the time we were there.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

We have stayed at several beaches along the Atlantic and we found North Topsail to be wonderful, quiet, beautiful, good food, convenient to a lot of things including a good grocery store. By the end of the week we felt this house was ours, it is truly a home. We were a diverse group of two families put together and everyone, teens, little ones and the adults had a good time. Those of us with cares and worries relaxed and napped and slept, the numerous decks prompted this. The younger ones were on the go all the time. We could stand in the kitchen and look at the ocean and the inland waterway. The pool on the deck became an evening ritual. The owner has provided a wonderful kitchen with a great refrigerator for a group, an excellent washer/dryer. These little things make a family vacation easier. Food Lion in Sneads Ferry is a good grocery store and not that far away. Andy's has great burgers and shakes and the Green Turtle is an excellent restaurant with a beautiful waterside atmosphere. These latter two things are also in Snead's Ferry. Donuts and More in Surf City is not to be missed, we got donuts freshly finished and glazed, still warm. Mollie's in Surf City was also good for breakfast. We had such a good time we are not sure we want to tell anyone.
