This is the third time we have stayed at Harbor View and the first time at this condo so we have a comparison to base our stay.
The place needs a deep cleaning and freshened paint. The cracked tile in the kitchen by the trashcan should be replaced to avoid injuring a bare foot. The kitchen is not well stocked for cooking in. We had to buy a hand mixer to make mashed potato’s and the coffee maker is missing a piece that lets the water flow into the decanter. We had to prop a utensil between the decanter and the filter housing each time we made coffee.
Other reviewers highlighted the sparse accommodations in the living area. It is a small tv snd having three remotes to sift through was odd. The couch and love seat are cloth and have the smell of dog.
The master bath toilet wobbles and the shower vent does not work.
Those things being said, we went with the flow and made things work for the week (we did leave a night early because the room above us must have been flipping furniture all night on Thursday and well into the day on Friday).
The management group was responsive on checkin. We did not contact them about any of the issues above as we cleaned things ourselves and made do.
Oh.. there wasn’t a blanket in the master bedroom. Just the sheets and bedspread. We brought our own blankets in to sleep.
While we would stay at Harbor View again, we would not stay in this condo unless some TLC was taken to improve it.
