We stayed in this home to celebrate a 40th and 50th birthday as well as 20th and 15th wedding anniversaries. There were three families and one couple--13 people total and it was just perfect. We had the most amazing time on this trip and couldn't be more happy. Every morning we got up, made a pot of Kauai coffee and watched the sun rise over Anahola Bay--a beautiful framed shot with the palm tree perfectly placed for our pictures! The beach was steps away so we would head down there after breakfast and boogie board, snorkel or stroll along the beach, Some days we were the only ones on the beach, it was amazing! The locals we met were awesome too--very friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect with easy access to Kapaa or the North Shore but secluded enough so that we felt like we were on our own island (with a bunch of roosters). The hospitality of the hosts was wonderful as we were greeted with a wonderful gift basket and they checked in on us to make sure everything was OK. Even after leaving when we noted a few items that needed attention, they were quick to take action and thank us for the consideration. Kauai is my favorite island and this hale is another great example of what makes this island so special. We can't wait to return and hope that we will be able to again stay in this beautiful home. Mahalo for allowing us to share!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thank you for the kind words. It is nice to find people that enjoy the island as much as we do. We could of chose anywhere on the island to settle and we chose Anahola. It is the Best Beach! We work hard to have our guests experience the Kauai that we enjoy so much. I remember the suggestions from the guests and it was a great help. I am not on island full time so it was nice to hear. We have a great property manager the runs the home like her own. She does greet all of the guests and is there if the have questions or an inside on the island. Mahalo
