  Leanne and Tim are the most gracious hosts we have ever encountered.They will help you plan your dives, make restaurant recommendations or suggest excursions on the island. And if you can imagine, Leanne and Tim were there to load and unload our gear each day of our trip, concluding with a professional demonstration on how to properly clean our dive gear for storage. We stayed in apartment 1 and the kitchen was totally supplied with everything you could want, even coffee and a bottle of club soda and cranberry juice in the frig! The apartment was spotless, beds were comforable, flat screen TV with DVD player and a nice library in the hallway with all the best fish and coral reef identification guides. The terrace was furnished with 2 lounge chairs and a 4 person table where we had breakfast each morning. Guests in apartment 2 were respectful of our space and very quiet. The Cliff dive site, in front of the villa, is a unique wall dive with numerous fish and coral species - my husband did 3 dives in front of the house. Use "Dive Friends", as they are a class operation - another Tim and Leanne recommendation. We are already planning our next trip to Bonaire and Leanne and Tim's Beachcomber Villas!

  Over the last 20 years my wife and I have travel all over the globe. We have experienced accommodations and hospitality in Eastern and Western Europe, South America, North America, Russia, Africa, the Middle East, the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia, China, Australia and New Zealand. There are few countries we have not visited and we can honestly say that we have never experienced the total package of warmth, constant care and hospitality that we experienced at the Beachcomber Villas with Tim and Leanne. We were amazed at the care, attention to detail, tasteful furnishing, cleanliness and upkeep of their Bonaire Villa. We would recommend this spot of paradise to anyone wishing to have a wonderful and relaxing vacation at a villa overlooking the enchanting Caribbean.

  Stop shopping around for vacation rentals - just go ahead and book this place. I can't imagine having a better experience than we did with Tim and Leanne. The apartment was spotless, the location was perfect, and their advice was excellent. They gave us great suggestions for where to eat and how to handle our sightseeing options. Resist the urge to make your own decisions, and just do what they say. You will not be disappointed. We ran into a problem with the airline, and based on their advice, we were able to avoid a huge expense and loss of time. Fantastic personal treatment! If we return to Bonaire, we will not consider staying anywhere else!

  We often visit the Caribbean  There are many isles that we have seen. This year we craved coral reefs of Bonaire  Tell me honestly, have you been there? Google suggested Beachcomber Villas  As a place that might possibly thrill us! Leanne and Tim, the couple who live there, Said, "come on down, we've got room to spare!" When we drove up in our "cute" little car We knew right away, Beachcomber's above par. The villa, lovely, well furnished and new The terrace offered an amazing view! Our hosts were incredible, nonpareil  Like a queen and king they made us both feel! Directions, reservations, snorkeling advice Were gracious and free, no need to ask twice! Our thanks to Leanne, who writes awesome rhyme And to Tim, so generous with his time, For a spring getaway, without equal. We simply cannot wait for the sequel!

  My wife, our thirteen-year-old daughter and I just came back after eight days of diving at Beachcomber Villas. It was our fist trip to Bonaire and forth to the Caribbean Sea. We found three gems in on place, wonderful hosts, healthy reef and immaculate villa. Leanne and Tim met us as if we were their old friends or family members, and we felt that way all our stay. Leanne helped a lot during the preparation stage of our visit with prompt answers to our emails, help with a truck rental and even talking to dive operators regarding our special needs. Tim provided a great support for our diving and travel activities around the island, which saved us a lot of time and headache. To me the “Cliff," a dive site in front of the villa was one of the best. You might see more interesting and dramatic terrain in other places, but amount of fish is hard to beat. I was fortunate enough to spot a manta on this site. Overall, we know where we will go on our next trip to Caribbean. Leanne and Tim, you are missed.

  We chose the Villa based on previous reviews, and all the accolades were absolutely true! The room was exactly as described, the beds as comfortable as our own, the views from the patio incredible, and Tim and Leanne make you feel like family. We didn't arrive until 3 A. M. and both were there to greet us and show us in, unbelievable. If you are concerned in any way about a Bonaire vacation, just come on, and Tim and Leanne will take care of whatever you need

  I just got back from a week at the Beachcomber Villa (2 bed apartment). This was my 6th trip to Bonaire and I was there for a combination of diving as well as an educational conference. Prior I had only stayed in the Belnem area and was eager to experience a different area of the island. I had heard of this place actually by meeting one of the owners on a prior trip while enjoying a lionfish pizza at Pasa Bon PIzza (very tasty by the way). That same week I also met a couple who were very happily spending 2 weeks at this apartment. Having read up on the place prior to booking it seemed to fit the bill. From my first communications with the owners, I was very impressed by the promptness and thoroughness with which they got back to me. We corresponded quite a bit about the diving and sea life in the area. The photos and description are accurate except that I don't think they quite capture how much outdoor space is available and how nice the view out back is. The place is very clean and well maintained. In fact one of the owners if rather "obsessed" with keeping everything in tip top shape. This is seen in many of the details such as very sharp knives in the kitchen, frying pans in very good shape, all the assorted small things one would need in the kitchen (ice trays, coffee maker, micro, etc). There is a very good system for rinsing, drying and storing dive gear including cleaning agents for the final cleaning at the end of the trip. There is ample parking space at the back door. The pool is a short walk out back (though I never used it). The oceanfront is a rocky (not sandy) beach which typifies most of the shoreline on the lee side of Bonaire. The owners are the most attentive and hospitable hosts that I have ever encountered. They always seemed to be around as we were getting our gear together to go out diving and when we got back to lend a hand with cleaning and storing it. I'm not accustomed to such treatment and am not sure that you can find it anywhere else on this island. They checked in with us daily to make sure everything is going well. They are a font of knowledge about the restaurants, activities and dive sites around the area. They even set up appointments for me with other rentals that I am considering for our return trip with a large group. This rental though is best suited for 2 people (either friends or a couple). I would recommend it for anyone from the first time Bonaire visitor to the most experienced.

  We would like to make a few comments in regards to our stay on this beautiful island of Bonaire with our great hosts Tim & Leanne at Beachcombers Villa. We have traveled to many places around the world and have always stayed at large hotels and were unsure of staying in an apartment attached to someone’s home. We’ll there’s no need to be concerned about that here. What a great time we had in the short 6 days that we were there, from the moment that we arrived Sunday night until we left Saturday morning Tim & Leanne have gone above & beyond what anyone could ever expect. We had a long flight that arrived late in the evening and Leanne was concerned that we would not have anything to eat so when we finally arrived we were greeted with a friendly smile, pizza worming in the oven & cold beer in the refrigerator. Try getting that at any hotel…. This place is second to none. They had our rental truck delivered directly to the Villa, which was wonderful. They helped us out with all of our diving needs, gave us everyday great guidance though-out our stay. The condition and cleanness of the apartment is everything that we had read prior to making our decision to stay here. The apartment and grounds are immaculate. They have a securely locked room for all your diving equipment to be dried and stored… and when you get back from your day of diving don’t be surprise if Tim meets you in the driveway and helps you with your dive gear. He says it’s his job. The background and expertise in diving that Tim has help us in making great choices for our week of diving. Leanne knows every restaurant and store in town and if she makes a suggestion you should probably go with it. She knows her stuff. We have already made the choice that we will be back to Bonaire next year and we will be staying at Tim & Leanne’s beautiful beachfront villa and enjoy their outstanding personal commitment to making sure their guest have a comfortable, safe and enjoyable vacation. If you are going to Bonaire, you should stay a Beachcomber Villa. You will not be disappointed.

  If this is your first trip to Bonaire, or if you are seasoned Bonairians, you would do well to consider Beachcomber Villa for your next Bonaire trip. You are in for a treat! My wife and I stayed for two weeks over Christmas 2012 and couldn't have been happier with the accommodations, the diving, and most of all, our hosts. Tim and Leanne have created an exceptionally comfortable oasis from which to dive, explore, or just relax. The villa is designed for divers by divers, with rinse tank, drying racks (outdoor and indoor), and outdoor shower ready for you to take advantage of the House Reef (The Cliff), which is about fifteen steps from the gate at the ocean side of the villa. Our very first dive on the House Reef yielded two frogfish and a sea horse! We are seasoned travelers and are used to packing all of the little accoutrements necessary for renting the random condo that catches our eye or budget. You can leave them at home. I have never stayed in a condo that had everything that I had in my own kitchen until we stayed at Beachcomber Villas. Tim and Leanne have you covered. If you have any questions of what not to bring, just ask. Tim and Leanne are quick to return emails and are committed to making your vacation just what you dreamed. Others have commented on how comfortable the beds are, how great the units are, the incredible sunsets, etc., but I want to emphasize how marvelous Tim and Leanne are. They are committed to your care and comfort. Leaving Bonaire was hard. Leaving Tim and Leanne was harder. We can’t wait to go back.

A deposit of 50% of the rental amount is required to reserve the apartment. The balance remaining will be due upon check-in. Payments can be made by Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, bank wire transfer, or a combination thereof. Cash is accepted for the balance remaining. For credit card transactions, a 5.5% service fee will be added to the deposit amount.

Additional Fees and Taxes:

A tourist tax of $5.45 per person per night will be added to all reservations. Cleaning fees are included in the rental amount.
