This place is awesome. I'm so glad I stayed here instead of at a hotel. We were trying to think of something that the place didn't have that we needed, but it had everything. The owner is very nice and is always nearby if you need anything. The place has a good record collection and PS3 game collection if you're stuck inside. The place was really clean, and you could tell it was refurbished recently. The people who I was visiting with always wanted to hang out at our place. There was plenty of room for everything, and anything we needed was right there. The place is a minute walk from Little Italy, which was great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's also just a few minutes from CIM and Case Western, and you can walk to the museum of modern art or the Cleveland art museum (which we walked to, and admission is free). If I ever wind up in Cleveland again, I'm staying here.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Adam has a great apartment in a wonderful location. Very fun decor, clean and comfortable. Easy for Cleveland Clinic patients. Wonderful walking and good eats at Murray Hill Market as well as Little Italy. Plenty of old albums and movies for entertainment in the apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and appreciated all the little decorative and comfort details put into the place. Adam himself was great to work with. When coming back for follow up visits, this will be my first place to try and stay at.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Found the apartment without too much trouble (although, be warned, there is also a Fairview Court) and entry was simple. The interior is certainly roomy enough, however, unless lights are left on all day, it tends to be dark (slat blinds would help) and there aren't enough table lamps. The kitchen is well-equipped but it would be helpful to have a locator map for the very few stores which sell foodstuffs (other than two excellent bakeries). The bathroom is spotless and there are tons of towels. Exploring Case Western Reserve is great fun although it's a good long walk to get there. There is bus service if you can figure out the locations of stops and schedules. Don't miss the expanded art gallery and the collections at Western Reserve Historical Society. L'Atbatros is a good choice of the local (more or less as it's on the campus) restaurants as is the nearby Mia Bella and the Inn at Washington.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Comfortable, clean, well appointed in a terrific location. Our stay was in the chilly month of February and the apartment was a welcoming home from cultural travels throughout the neighborhood. Severance Hall, the Art Institute, Museum of Contemporary Art, fine restaurants, a charming grocery store, excellent coffee shops and shops are all within easy access from the apartment. We were impressed with the thoughtfulness of amenities and the eccentric furnishings. The owner seems to have thought of, and provided for, all our needs. We definitely plan to return.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

I have stayed in the apartment before and returned because I always enjoy my stay. The service Adam provides great. He always reaches out prior to arrival to make sure you are on schedule and have everything you need for your stay. The apartment is clean and has everything you need for your accommodations. In addition, the design of the space is unique and warm and has become my home away from home when I stay in Cleveland. I highly recommend the space.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Place was spotlessly clean and Adam, the landlord, is very responsive, if you need anything. This apartment was a wonderful place to stay for me and my family. It was clean and well stocked when we arrived with plenty of towels and toiletries. Adam was very responsive and helpful. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this duplex in the heart of Cleveland's Little Italy. With less than a 10 minute walk you can be at one of Little Italy's many restaurants, bakeries, or specialty shops. During our stay, we walked to La Dolce Vita, Mama Santa's, Il Bacio, Corbo's Bakery, and Presti's Bakery. You'll also find that the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Museum of Natural History, and the Cleveland Botanical Garden are all less than 1.5 miles away. As for the duplex, the photos don't do it justice. The place was larger than it looks from the photos. Everything was very neat and clean and the furnishings were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes/pots/pans and there were plenty of condiments and miscellaneous items in the fridge and cabinets incase you forgot something. The bathroom had plenty of towels, the shower was very nice, and there are lots of little toiletries. The sitting room was very comfortable and the entertainment center offers plenty to keep you occupied - a record player with a large collection of records, a PS3 with a large selection of games, and lots of DVDs. We definitely look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Cleveland. :)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This comfortable and funky-with-a-style-of-is-own apartment is perfectly suited for an extended stay in Cleveland. The location is ideal: situated in Little Italy close to several inviting restaurants and many attractions. The Cleveland Botanical Garden, Cleveland Museum of Natural History, Museum of Contemporary Art, Cleveland Museum of Art and the Cleveland Orchestra (at Severance Hall) are all within walking distance. The street is quiet but only two turns off the main thoroughfares - so there is little or no traffic noise at night. We reached some of our destinations on foot but used a rental vehicle for most excursions – on street parking was convenient, often right in front of the door. The apartment is equipped with everything one might need for an extended stay, whether you are planning to spend your evenings in or out. There is television of course and a stack of movies and games – but the record collection and turntable is what kept us occupied into the wee hours! For groceries Constantino’s Market is nearby on Euclid. Plus Walgreens and a full-sized Dave’s Market a short drive up Mayfield. And be sure to go to the West Side Market at least once! Meeting Adam was a real treat. He made us feel quite welcome and was full of suggestions and recommendations on how to make the most of our stay. Weather forced an extra night into our stay and Adam was able to turn a potential headache into “no big deal”! Book this apartment, you won't be sorry!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The apartment is the ground floor of a two-story duplex. I was happy to find it a bit more spacious than the pictures suggest. Good kitchen, very good beds, nice bath, comfortable furniture. Someone planning to do much reading might want to pack a book light . Sunny front porch is nice for AM coffee. The remote for the DVD player is from a PlayStation, something these geezers couldn't fathom, but Adam came almost instantly twice to get us going. The house is on a quiet street just a short block from the Italian restaurants on Mayfield Rd. Walking distance to the Red Line and to the Euclid Ave. Healthline. Walking distance to the art museum, hospitals, and Case Western Reserve. On-street parking was easy, always got the spot right in front. Footsteps overhead from the upstairs neighbor at certain times, otherwise perfectly quiet. University Circle and Euclid Ave. all the way down to the Terminal Tower have undergone massive change since my last visit, decades ago. Cleveland has greened up and spiffed up much like Chicago has. I, in fact, took advantage of Southwest Airlines frequent service and flew over to Chicago and back on our last day at the apartment. Red Lined it to/from the airport. We had a good time. West Side Market is great.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We were so fortunate to come across this rental property for a short term stay in our former neighborhood - it was wonderful to be back for the month having previously lived in the townhomes up the street and the school house nearby. Nothing fancy, but clean and equipped with everything you need - just bring your clothes. Our other alternatives would have been sterile corporate housing options. So much to see and do - but the best part is just walking and visiting University Circle, The Art Museum. the best food in town at Primo, Maxi's, the new Market on Murray Hill - the list goes on and on. Quick and easy drives out east for shopping and downtown to the new casino, 4th street restaurants, Hall of Fame and West Side Market. Would be a great choice for temporary corporate housing if you need to be here for business - minutes away from downtown and anywhere on the east side of town. Hope to be back next year. And most important - the owner is always responsive and nearby - Adam, thanks for welcoming us. .Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Having left Cleveland twenty years ago and then returning to Little Italy for my stay at this property was a pleasant surprise. The area is very safe and there are tons of fun things to do here. The house is perfect for one person, a couple or two people who want separate rooms. The decor is homey and the place is clean. Also, on a one-way street so its so quiet that you end up sleeping in too much! Lol Adam, the owner, is helpful and helped with any questions I had. I was supposed to have surgery at the Clinic which would have worked well for me as the property is all one-level and better than staying at a hotel. I liked it so much here, I'd live here if I could! What a gem!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Having grown up in Cleveland Heights, my Father's business being located just blocks away at 123rd and Euclid, and being familiar with all of greater Cleveland, and especially all that LIttle Italy has to offer and its longstanding heritage, I had a great time staying at this home with my family during our short visit home. I was very fortunate to find a location only miles away from my childhood home, and very conveniently located to the other east suburbs. This home is very close to University Circle, the RTA, University Hospitals, and other Cleveland sites. We found that the home had everything you might need while travelling. Our family was very comfortable, and was very pleased with the outstanding cleanliness and comfort. My kids (young adults and a teen) especially enjoyed the unique creativity and design efforts employed by the owner when he remodeled. Exceptionally cool!! Thanks Adam, for stopping by to check on us and offer any assistance!! We felt very "at home!" Our family would definitely and highly recommend this location to any visiting family and friends. Looking forward to seeing you again in September to watch my beloved BROWNS beat up on those Eagles at home!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

It was clean, well cared for, and well stocked with items like towels, toilet paper, paper towels, utensils, dishes, and even with items like canned sodas. The house was convenient to eating places and to Case Western Reserve University. The bathroom was in good condition and the shower worked well. We found the owner friendly and accommodating. We were pleased with our stay there and would consider renting again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

My husband and I were in Cleveland for a week for the heart surgery of our daughter, and were happy to have an alternative to hotels near Cleveland Clinic. We were able to shop, cook, and have several meals in rather than relying on restaurants and/or fast food for the week. Adam was very helpful, checking with us a couple of times during our stay to make sure everything was okay. Although we didn't have much time or energy to explore or do sightseeing, the Little Italy neighborhood was very charming. We would definitely recommend this property to family & friends, or anyone needing temporary housing in the Cleveland area.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

This clean, well maintained, and very comfortable apartment was perfect for our visit to Cleveland. We made our reservations fairly last minute as we were visiting to be with a family member undergoing heart surgery at Cleveland Clinic. The owner was very accommodating of our last minute request and was genuinely concerned that we were comfortable and had the best visit we could under the circumstances. The proximity of the apartment to Cleveland Clinic was perfect and we would recommend a stay here for anyone who finds themself in Cleveland, but especially for those who have need to be at the Clinic. It is far more comfortable than any hotel in the area. It was so nice to be able to come 'home' to a great meal (whether cooked at the apartment or picked up from one of the many great nearby restaurants) each day. We brought our 2 kids (5 and 1) with us on this trip and they were also very comfortable in the house. Even now (3 months after our visit) my son still talks about the 'red house in Cleveland' from time to time. Our easy strolls to the market and nearby bakeries are fond memories. This really is a great apartment in a beautiful location!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great time staying at the home away from home in little italy!! We went Feb 7-12th 2012 with my husband and 2 daughters (5 months and 2 years 5 months) to house hunt in the area and visit the Cleveland Clinic. The location was just perfect- 0.1 miles from many amazing restaurants (we went to Trattoria for a delicious birthday dinner and Mama Santas twice for pizza) and steps away from a cute little deli/grocery store Murray Hill Market. This home is very close to the cleveland clinic where my husband had a meeting and very accessible to the airport, local attractions, and other neighborhoods. There are a couple larger grocery stores in the area (Daves about a mile away and Whole Foods about 3 miles away) that we shopped at and cooked in the kitchen in the apartment. The unit has anything you might need to make a meal. Our family of 4 was very comfortable in this 2 bedroom, 1 bath unit. The unit was extremely clean and while it was in a great location, it was very quiet. We loved the unique details of the unit- the owner remodeled the place all himself and everything was brand new and one of a kind. It was perfectly child-friendly as well. Also the rooms curtains were dark which is great for having kids do they slept in! The owner was also helpful and accessible - he stopped by to check in and we saw him on the street several times - he lives a couple houses down. We felt very safe, happy, comfortable, and warm (it snowed while we were there!) while staying at this home. We would highly recommend this place to our friends and family- hope you get to stay here soon! We will definitely be coming back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I had a great time staying here for the month of November and December. Adam is very accommodating and he often emailed and asked if there was anything I needed. The apartment is clean, well maintained, and much cozier than a hotel. It is fully furnished and had everything I needed for the month long stay. It is located in a nice neighborhood and I always felt safe coming home from late shifts in the ER. There are a lot of restaurants close by and a great bakery right down the street. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a comfortable stay in Cleveland.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Since it was our first rental through vrbo we were a little panicked when it seemed the owner didn't call us back when we were trying to get a hold of him but in turned out to be a misunderstanding. He was calling our home phone, not our cell phone. Adam, the owner, was comfortable and relaxed. I am from the Cleveland area but have not been too familiar with Little Italy. It was like being in a different city and a lot of fun. Gelatto, Caloni, meatballs , and pizza nearby. We rode the red line to the West Side Market which was a fun trip. Most importantly, I was able to be near my father who lives in Cleveland heights. Usually it's difficult to visit him since there are no hotels in the area. Our three year old loved the "red house" and the nearby park and didn't want to leave. Hopefully Adam will rent it out in the future so we can stay here again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

My wife & I were traveling on our anniversary and contacted Adam on an extremely short notice. We wanted to stop off in Cleveland through our travels and not do the Cliché thing and stay in a hotel. We wanted to stay in Cleveland neighborhood and feel like a local. We found this cool little apartment right in the Little Italy section of Cleveland, which we knew nothing about and took his word for it in the neighborhood description under part of his listing. The stay was perfect as well as the neighborhood. All the Italian you can think of literally at the end of the block. The next morning we did a 4 mile run and never felt unsafe whatsoever. Great area to stay. Your getting a full apartment to use for about the same price (possibly less) then what you would pay for a cramped hotel room downtown. No complaints at all about this place. Thank you Adam for your hospitality.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This past month my father received open heart surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Frustrated with the hotel rates in the area, I found this apartment on Craigslist. The landlord Adam was great... he was extremely helpful, very informative, and readily accessible. The apartment it's self was very clean and cozy. Adam even allowed us to use his DVD's and record collection. The apartment is a few minutes drive to the Clinic or a 20min slow walk. Little Italy is a great neighborhood with several restaurants, bakeries, and cute shops. We even found a yoga studio around the corner. I would definitely recommend this apartment for families needing to stay in Cleveland for medical reasons.
