Whether it is fishing or water sports, you will enjoy the serenity of this part of the lake. Take the family to Silver Dollar City for a day of rides, crafts, music shows and eating pleasures or to Branson Landing on Lake Taneycomo to enjoy shopping in 100 plus stores that include the famous Bass Pro. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. This house is updated, very clean, comfortable, spacious and private. The kids loved the swim dock and the pool, which is only 100 feet from the house. Sitting on the deck is exactly what the owner describes peaceful in the morning and the evening. We spent most of our days on the water cliff jumping, wake boarding, tubing and skiing, we also traveled only 9 miles to the famous rope swing in Kimberling. Having a private dock was an added bonus, not to mention the golf cart that is provided for us to get to the dock. We loved everything about this rental and will be back next year for a week stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family and I stayed at this chalet the weekend of July 15th. The beds and linens were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this location if you are looking for a nice relaxing laid back weekend in a quiet area. The pool was very clean and the water temperature was perfect. The kids had fun playing pool in the basement. We spend most of our weekend on the back top deck enjoying the view.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

About the owner: My husband is a dentist that has been practicing for over 45 years and I am a retired teacher and Principal. We enjoy the fresh water lake and go almost every weekend to our lake house. We have owned our chalet since 1979 and purchased the large chalet next to ours 10 years ago. We began remodeling and worked on it on weekends for 4-1/2 years to make it a vacation rental. Now that the remodeling is finished, we want to do more fishing and enjoy the beauty of Tablerock Lake. I also operate the Nixa Meeting Event Center in Nixa, MO so sometimes my husband goes to the lake on Friday night and I go down Saturday night. He takes our two standard poodles with him and I leave from the center. We both enjoy the outdoors, riding around on the golf cart, visiting all the friends at the lake and watching the beautiful sunsets at about 8:15 by the launching ramp.

because people are always asking about a place to rent and really enjoy this portion of the lake that has less boat traffic.
The Unique Benefits at this Chalet:
One can rise early, get a cup of freshly brewed coffee and sit on the covered deck to view the calmness of the lake and watch the hummingbirds busily gathering necter from the feeders. The groundhogs come out of the rock ledge 100 ft away to feed on the canalope peels scattered out earlier. An early morning walk for a short visit with some that have come down for the weekend is quite enjoyable or visit with those returning with their early morning catch on the lake. Later in the day, enjoy a ride on the waverunners or take a boat ride to pull those wanting to ski, tube or just sun and swim off the dock . The freshwater lake is a relaxing and enjoyable place for everyone to have quality family time and create some memorable experiences for years to come.
