Your home in the islands is Hale Pau Hana unit 702, a top-floor, beachfront condo with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, the Molokini Volcano Crater, the islands of Lanai and Kahoolawe and the majestic West Maui Mountains. Newly remodeled, the interior features tile floors, updated kitchen, modern bathrooms, and new beds and other furnishings. Hale Pau Hana is a non-smoking complex. No smoking in unit 702.
Beautifully decorated with Hawaiian artwork and accents, this comfortable one-bedroom, two-bathroom unit sleeps four and includes a king bed and two punees in the living area that convert into twin beds. The kitchen is well-stocked. The living area features a new, flat-screen television, CD and DVD players and internet access. A large walk-out lanai (balcony) is the perfect place for watching the breathtaking nightly sunsets or the migrating whales in season (November-April). Other condo features include in-room safe, iron/ironing board, air conditioning, beach towels, hair dryer and free parking.
Hale Pau Hana’s exceptional amenities consist of 1.84 acres of beautifully landscaped beachfront grounds, a variety of chaise lounges and chairs for sunning on the lawn, oceanfront fresh water heated swimming pool, showers, barbeques and laundry facilities. A short staircase from the lawn leads directly to the welcoming white sand beach with gentle waves perfect for swimming. A vibrant snorkeling reef is located directly in-front of the property and is home to several resident sea turtles and colorful tropical fish.
Just 25 minutes from Kahului airport, Hale Pau Hana is located in the heart of Kihei in south Maui. Many of Kihei’s popular shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Just a short drive away you will find Maui’s championship golf courses, tennis courts, the Maui Ocean Center Aquarium, spas, boat harbors and other fun island attractions.

About the owner: Our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents, Owen and Florence Kupfer of San Gabriel, California, were original owners of Hale Pau Hana. They loved everything about Maui from the people and the history, to the white sand and blue surf. Kihei was just a tiny town when they first came here. Wailea did not exist and was just kiawe groves. The airport was so small they put your luggage around a banyan tree for pick up. The unit is now owned by Kupfer children and grandchildren, all of whom love Maui and wish you a pleasant stay.
