Two bedroom plus den, fully furnished, luxury bright end unit condo at Island Cove. Plantation shutters at most windows for perfect light control. Elevator access in center of building, one covered assigned parking space plus plenty of extra parking. You look out onto the 4 Mile Eco Preserve where a variety of wildlife and water birds can often be sighted. Manatees and turtles come and go in the canals. Fishing is great right from the seawall. Canoes and kayaks are available. WiFi available at clubhouse and in unit.
Yearly rentals are $1,100/mo. plus utilities, tax, cleaning fee $120.00, application fee $125.00 and damage deposit, $49.00.

Enjoyed our month
March, 2013 was lovely at the condo. It was well stocked and beautifully furnished. Loved our view from the 4th floor seeing manatees, mullet jumping and even a tarpon. Also the grounds and pool area are kept up very nicely. So many beautiful places to see in and around Cape Coral. The only negative was that the month flew by much too fast! But we loved it so much that we're coming back next March:) Thank you Marsha and Aubrey for the pleasure of staying in your condo and for being so gracious. Look forward to seeing you again next year and staying in "our home away from home".

This property exceeded our expectations . The unit was clean , comfortable and well equipped . We liked the fact that this was a gated community so we felt very safe . The pool and hot tub were close by and was well looked after . Our view was of a quiet wooded area beyond a canal and we enjoyed watching the birds as they flew by our 4th floor balcony . We were within walking distance to shopping and was close to restaurants and local bars . The owners were wonderful in providing us with help . We were also happy that the owners were local and could readily provide us information . The caretaker of the condo complex was also very helpful and was friendly and willing to provide us with assistance . We enjoyed the experience so much we have booked again for next year . Thank you Aubrey and Marsha ...see you next year

We chose the ideal condo for our stay in Cape Coral, FL. Thank you for all the local information you provided plus allowing us to bring our dog, Mollie....she had a great vacation as well. As my return stay at the Smith's comes to an end, it was only approopriate that a beautiful rainbow after a shower ended at their condo. They have developed a pot of gold for their tenants to enjoy. Many thanks.

My family and I stayed here almost a year ago. It was awesome. I felt bad when we locked ourselves out and had to get another key from the owner. We also own in Island cove. The condo was beautifully decorated, clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. I would recommend this unit to anyone. We had a great time and felt comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. Everything was clean and well-maintained. There are many extras to make your stay comfortable and the owners have decorated the condo very tastefully. It makes you feel like home. The pool and spa are very close. The owners are always available to answer questions. We would recommend this condo to friends and relatives. It is close to shopping and restaurants. We certainly would like to stay there again.

Here for better than a month now and am happy to say the Smith's have done an excellent job in making their home feel like my home. They are kind and considerate. The weather was typical FL weather..hot and humid. The bald eagle flew by daily as if to say HI! As the owner of seasonal rentals in NJ, I can say the condo was great and the Smith's have accomplished their goal.

About the owner: .My husband and I are full time residents of Cape Coral. We moved from Idaho in 2005 after spending the previous winter here looking into new construction. We didn't want a 'fixer-upper'! Aubrey is US Army retired, Lt.Col. after twenty years service, stateside and abroad. We are both born in St. Petersburg, FL (that makes us Fla. Crackers), so it was natural that we'd locate in FL in our golden years. We operated a bed and breakfast on the Salmon River in ID for 20 years, so we know what vacationers want...call us today! We are available 24/7 to handle any service problem that should arise. We will do monthly servicing and repairs.
Why the Owner Chose Island Cove:
We looked at many communities in both Cape Coral and Fort Myers before settling on Island Cove. Much of what people look for today is nearness to shopping, medical and entertainment. We are minutes from a 24-hour Wal Mart; Publix;auto repair and Veterinary hospital. All this with out going on Del Prado! The quietness our community offers is awesome. Canals are sailboat accessible which we found out that many canals in the area are not deep enough for sailboats. One rarely needs to leave Island Cove as the amenities are abundant.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
It's a 5-minute drive to shopping and public transportation is at Del Prado. The ponds attract ducks and water birds frequently. Bald eagles have a nest in the preserve and often can be seen perched on Island Cove roofs. If you enjoy the outdoors, there are numerous recreation areas to see. If you have a dog that likes morning and evening walks...don't forget to take a large mug of coffee for sipping as you take in the solitude and beauty.
