  My husband, daughter and I spent 4 days at Rhinestone Fisherman. The house certainly exceeded all expectations and the pictures didn't do it justice! The bedrooms are so unique and the kitchen is definitely state of the art. The cleanliness is beyond reproach. We enjoyed just hanging around the house and sitting on the dock but there are many fun things to do including fishing, kayaking, eating out, boating, etc. Bert's Bar and The Perfect Cup are great! If you want a truly unique experience, this facility has it all....plus the price is right! The owners were most accommodating and answered all questions and concerns. I would certainly recommend this property to a friend or relative.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  I was hesitant to write a review because we didn't want to share this hidden 'gem' with anyone else but it definitely deserves 5 stars. The pictures don't do the Rhinestone Fisherman justice. Each room is more interesting than the previous. The place was clean when we arrived and Mark even left a 'welcome' cake for us. The few questions we had were answered quickly. The screened in porch was an unexpected room and the deck/dock area on the water was a great place to read and entertain. Watching for dolphins and manatees in the mornings with a cup of coffee can't be beat. The dogs were very comfortable, too. We've already signed on for next year. Can't wait!!!

  My wife and I have been guests of other properties by the owner of this fabulous place. As usual we were blown away by the amenities afforded by the Rhinestone Fisherman. Directions were right on and the spot was easy to find. It is a comfortable, clean and superbly furnished house decorated in Matlacha style, old Florida fishing village. The place is the perfect getaway for the couple, the family, or the sportsman with its long dock, davits, and open water access. We especially enjoyed dining at Bert's (three doors down), Red's (steak and seafood), Great Licks (ice cream) and The Perfect Cup, a breakfast cafe where all the locals gather. My wife, enjoyed shopping, of course, at all the local craft and gift shops. We look forward to returning soon. The Smiling Dentist

  The Rhinestone Fisherman is literally perched on Florida's finest fishing experience. Walk to the colorful and charming "Old Florida" Village of Matlacha, have your guide pick you up on your dock! I recommend this destination for the serious angler and the casual tourist as well.
