Really couldn't have asked for anything more than this home provided. It had some nice retro fixtures but everything worked exactly as it was supposed to and while we used very little of them, the house was stocked with more pots, pans & utensils than my own house. The entire home was very clean and the towels provided were of a higher quality than most hotels. It was great to have the deck to relax on after riding mountain bikes all day. If you're looking for a nice, quiet home at a very fair price in Grand Junction or Fruita, this is a great option.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

We've stayed at Patricia's twice now and it is a great location from which to explore Grand Junction. We love having a "home base" with all the comforts, including a washer/dryer and full kitchen. The home has wonderful character and we all enjoy going for walks out the back to hunt for pretty rocks (that and looking up at the stars were the high points for our 5 year old.)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We chose to stay here for a week and a half while here on business instead of a motel and were very glad we did! It was a great home away from home! It was clean and everything you need is provided and it is very easy to make yourself at home! And the view is great!! We recommend the drive around the Monument state park! If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay again!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We recently had the pleasure of renting this home over the Labor Day weekend. The listing description and pictures accurately reflected the appearance, amenities and location of the house. The house and property were very clean. Kitchen has every thing you need if you want to cook in. Peaceful and quiet location. Absolutely incredible views of Grand Junction (both day and night) from the deck. The owner (Patricia) was very prompt in answering all of our questions. We highly recommend this property and will definitely stay in this rental again whenever our travels take us to or through Grand Junction. Thank you Patricia!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This A-Frame sits with views of Colorado National Monument and city lights of downtown Grand Junction. You can hike out the back door or drive five minutes into town. Summertime the downtown has a fantastic Farmer's Market on Thursday nights with food, fun, music, restaurants galore. The A-frame is quaint and fully furnished with 3 bedrooms and a great deck to enjoy a BBQ. The owner was very helpful and available by phone when we had questions about the property. Photos are accurate! It's a fun place to stay.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed for a week in May 2012. We hiked the easy accessible trials, visited many Colorado cities and found the home was a wonderful basepoint. The fully furnished kitchen...pots, pans ect was great because we love to cook. The bedrooms were so cozy and we truly felt we in a home away from home. Thank you Patricia! You were so easy to work with and we hope we can stay there again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Great place to stay. Nice A-frame house with amazing views. We are five mountain bike racers from Calgary. Excellent location right on the trails - so convenient to have road riding or mountain biking out your door. The Lunch Loops are some of the best mountain biking trails we have ever ridden.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing.

This house is perfect for those people who want a house with a fantastic view. Settling in at night with the gorgeous sunset sets this house apart from staying in a hotel in town. The house is located just outside town so it is quiet yet close enough to be convenient. If I ever make it out to Grand Junction again, I will stay here without a doubt.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

What a wonderful home! We were in Grand Junction for my father-in-laws 80th birthday and Christmas. This home slept seven of us very comfortably, and we used the fabulous fireplace as the backdrop for our family photos. The listing descriptions and directions to (and for) the home were very clear. The listing photos however simply cannot do justice to the spectacular views, or the warmth you feel upon entering the home. The home was very clean and very well stocked with everything you'd find in your own home. We took advantage of the nearby trails and toured the Colorado National Monument. However, our stay was short so we did not have the chance to look in to the many, many, fliers for nearby activities and attractions packed neatly in to a very large three ring binder. The owner was very prompt and helpful with any and all questions. I would highly recommend this home!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I stayed here for nearly a month, and this was a great place. The house is fully outfitted (love the solar panels), and the location is awesome. It's got space from the neghbors, easy access to Grand Junction and the National Monument, and unbeleivable panoramic views. The owner is really pleasant, friendly, and really great to work with. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Perfect location for mountain biking the three main, distinct trail systems in Grand Junction and Fruita. The Gunny Loop which is part of the lunch loop system literally runs 50-100 yards behind the house. The first day we we rode down the driveway, across the street and into the lunch loops. Farthest trail system in Fruita is about a 20 minute drive. The house was even nicer in person than in the pictures. It was impeccably clean and had everything we needed to for the long weekend stay. We cooked and grilled outside on the deck overlooking Grand Junction. It was great to relax on the deck and take in the view after a long day on the bikes.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is the perfect place to stay in the Grand Junction area. It is spacious, comfortable, has all the amenities you could need and has glorious views all around from the deck. It was our jumping off spot for exploring the area and was great to come "home" to at night. The owner is gracious and full of good information about the area and was easily available by e-mail or phone when we had questions or concerns. There are plenty of brochures and articles there to read, if you aren't sure where all you want to go. When we were at the house itself, we spent most of our time on the deck, enjoying the views of Colorado National Monument and Grand Mesa. At night, the lights of the city were incredible.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Nice home with a great view of Grand Junction and the surrounding area!! Plenty of room, clean, and quiet at night. Three bedrooms were perfect for our family and two baths with showers is a real luxury. Everything you need when your away from home. Owner was very helpful with tips on what to do in the area. Perfect location for seeing Arches, Black Canyon, Grand Mesa and Colorado N.M. You can't beat the price for what you get...I'm glad we found this home!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

This is a super comfortable, perfectly equipped and outfitted house. Comfortably fits six (plus a few kids), but we were two, so were very comfortable. Access to trails, shopping and dining out is great, and having a fully decked out kitchen made food planning a treat. For mountain bikers the location can not be beat with four top trail systems within a 30 minute drive (one right outside the door). Stop thinking, book it now!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

What a great house. Plenty of room for 6 (we were two but super-spacious!). Comfortable with good linens, towels, beds, cable, laundry, wifi, clean and tidy place. It was like staying in our own home with everything found where it should be. What a view of the valley! We are cyclists so were happy to have a hose and great driveway to wash bikes. Right on the Gunny Loop of the Lunch Loop trail (about 100 metres away!). No complaints at all. Patricia was easy to deal with on the phone and via email. We will stay again. What a pleasure it was to stay in the perfect location of Grand Junction, Colorado. The house was just what we needed for our Colorado adventure. The house provided a warm and cozy home base which allowed us to have a comfortable nights sleep in a safe and clean environment. The house allowed us to cook in the well equipped kitchen, or we could just drive for a night out on the town. There were no worries about laundry as both a washing machine and dryer were available with easy access. The fireplace and cottage feel is just what I dreamed about when planning my first vacation to the great state of Colorado. The views from the house are spectacular. The Grand Mesa seems to be at your fingertips. The location is perfect for seeing more than just the sweet town of Grand Junction. We were able to do a great deal in the week long vacation. We went to Utah along the Colorado River Rd. We enjoyed Snowmobiling and Snow Skiing on the Grand Mesa. The days at Powder Horn and Teluride were amazing. We were also able to enjoy the famous Hot Springs of Colorado. You will not regret renting this wonderful home. It met all of my expectation for my first Colorado Adventure.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
