  This is my second visit to this vacation home (this time with a different group) and much like the last visit, we had a great time and the house fit us perfectly!!! It was clean, comfortable, had every single necessity we could've needed. Looking forward to our next stay...in the near future sometime!

  My brother and two cousins have an annual "Cousins Weekend" and this year we got together and rented this house for a weekend of "guy" stuff. Yeah, there was beer, poker and football, but we also played horseshoes, did some hiking, went into Cripple Creek to take the Mollie Cathleen mine tour, and went to check out the waterfall, which we heard about last year when we stayed in the area in a different house. The house was amazing. So much house, even without the guest house, that there were entire spaces we never got around to using. We had breakfast out on the deck, saw deer several times and foxes and coyotes too. We used the hot tub, although it was a little small for four 6 foot 200 pounders...We loved having one fridge for food and another for beer...and everyone got a large bed to sleep in. We think the basement bedroom is the nicest, with the attatched living room was more like a nice hotel room! The other rooms were also great. We love the location, being so close to Denver, where we drove from, but also to things to see like Cripple Creek. We were slightly underwhelmed by the falls, but it is still worth the hike. One of us even took the plunge and jumped in!!! The others chickened out... Thanks for such a great place to stay! We plan on coming back!

  What an amazing stay, Loved this place and will come back in the future. If you want a place to relax with beautiful views.. This is it!!!!!! Thank you so much to management for having such a well maintance place that makes the stay worth every minute, and giving us all the space we needed. Will recommend to others only if they promise not to take my spot at the same time..

  Wow! What a wonderful place to unwind and relax with family! We were amazed at all that was provided for a wonderful stay! They have thought of everything you might have forgot or just didn't bring! The description is everything it says and more. We were 15 people from 8 months to 53 and rented the house and cabin and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their space! It's a little bit of driving to get to pikes peak or royal gorge areas but it was worth it to be out in the beautiful location and theres lots to do at the cabin besides just relaxing. We all agreed we'd like to come back! Thanks to the owners for sharing a great place!!

  Our family vacation was a great success due in large to the great cabin that we chose to rent. The discription provided was exactly what we found when we arrived plus more. It was clean, neat and well maintained. The property managers were available to answer any questions but were not intrusive. We had 7 adults staying at the cabin for a week and had more then enough room to relax and enjoy each others company or hide away when we wanted to just be alone. We brought groceries with us to the cabin but honestly I was amazed at the amount of items that were provided for us at no charge just to make our stay a little more care free. We had deer that came to the cabin every single evening and grazed in the fields in front of the cabin and a gray fox that would come by almost every morning. The spectacular view from the deck at sunrise and sunset was simply amazing. It truly was a home away from home. I will be returning and so will several other friends and family members after they see the photos of our cabin in the woods. Simply beautiful. Thanks for letting us rent this little piece of heaven for the week.

  The property was even more beautiful than the pictures show!! It was well maintained with beautiful views and was conveniently located to grocery stores and attractions. We had 5 families with a total of 12 people, and the layout was perfect to allow every family in our group to have their own privacy (We rented both the main house and the guest cabin). We had a minor issue with the hot tub upon arrival, but we called the property manager and he was there to fix it within 1/2 hour. Everyone in our group agreed that we would all like to stay at this property again in the future and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a rental in this area.

  We recently had our family reunion with 16 people and rented the main home and guest home. Very nice home and property! Everything went well until I got home and got the email that I owed an additional hot tub cleaning fee of $175. Apparently, our kids left the hot tub dirty (did not get details) and we did not check it after they used it on Saturday night which was our fault. I'll certainly take care of the bill but feel that is a lot for the cleaning of the hot tub especially since it is something that should be cleaned every couple weeks anyway as a rental. So be careful to double check the hot tub when done or you may get an unexpected bill also.

  Owner response: We are very happy you had a good stay. Sometimes guest don't understand the Hot Tub rules that are post next to the hot tub. It does take about 1 to 11/2 hrs to pump the tub out scrub with bleach clean the filter refill the tub with takes about 11/2 to 2 hours depending on the well pressure add and balance the chem. and it can take 8 to 10 hours to heat back up. The guest that should be using the tub can't . The cleaning is done every 5 to 7 days on all 15 of the rentals with tubs. Plus a special trip to the tub a 45 min. to 1hr drive each way as we are out in the country. We wish to provide clean tubs to all of our guest thus the posted rules . Labor and materials must be figured into all we do to provide a good rental at a good price , sorry but sometimes it has to cost a little more.

  The home was well appointed. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was at our finger tips. We all felt that the owners are special people which comes out in the character of the house. After a year of planning our Daughter's wedding and celebrating two birthdays all within one week , our family relaxed and rejuvenated quite well. Thank-you very much!

  I booked this property after extensive searching for a home to rent for USAFA graduation. The home proved to be an excellent choice for our family. Immaculately cleaned and well furnished with so many little things that made our stay like being with family! A large gathering space and smaller "private" sitting areas enabled everyone to achieve the "level of family" that was right for them. Beautiful views of the moutains and wild life, as well as, "local" information that lead to exploration of nearby waterfalls! We have reserved another of Mike & Maggie's properties for next year and can hardly wait to see what it has to offer!

  We just spent two nights at this home for my son's birthday party. We were very happy with the accomodations that were provided for us. The boys enjoyed exploring the property as well as the relaxing time in the hot tub. The layout was great for a large group. We also went to the waterfalls and all of the boys jumped in. Thank you for letting us create some of our favorite memories.
