  Myself and a bunch of friends from all over the United States met at this house in order to catch up and also to see two of the friends new baby. This was a perfect setting to get reaquanted with everyone. The house was amazing, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get away from everything for a few days and just relax.

  My husband and I rented this house for our wedding weekend and had his family and a couple of our friends stay with us. The house was the perfect size and more than enough space for everyone to spread out. The view of Mount Hood is spectacular from all the rooms! The deck is a great place to entertain and have dinner or morning coffee, the lawn is beautiful with some very nice lavender and other plants surrounding the area. There are several areas on the lawn for soaking up the sun. We invited some of our out of town guests to do a tour of the local wineries with us during the day before our "rehearsal dinner" and invited them all back to the house for dinner. It was spectacular! Everyone loved the house and we had a great time entertaining. We will definitely come back and encourage our friends to also rent this house for a private and gorgeous getaway!

  This is a lovely, large home on a gorgeous piece of property. The views of Mt. Hood over hundred of acres of forests and orchards is really special. We loved our time there.

  We loved our week at this property. Beautiful gardens, spacious house. Lots of space for the kids to run around - they loved the trampoline! Thank you for a lovely holiday!

  Words cannot express how wonderful this vacation home is! The photos simply do not do justice to this wonderful property and home! The grounds were immaculate and the view of Mt. Hood was stunning. The interior was gorgeous, clean, and tastefully decorated. The owner provided everything we could possibly need (and more) for our four night stay. We had our young children with us (ages 3 and 6) and they were thoroughly entertained by the trampoline, sand box, tire swing, toys, and they must have log-rolled down the hills 1000Xs! We (the grown-ups) enjoyed the hot tub on the deck, the sauna, and the views...breathtaking! The owner was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions, and everything (regarding the cabin) was very well-organized in a binder. Although we were perfectly content staying at the cabin, there are so many great things to do in surrounding cities. We enjoyed a trip to Sylcline Winery in Lyle (beautiful grounds and very friendly owners who allowed our children to pick some fresh raspberries!), a great kid-friendly hike to Falls Creek Falls just outside Carson, The Gorge White House in Hood River off 35 (a lovely, Historic home) where we enjoyed wine and beer tasting, and the kids picked fresh strawberries that were out of this world delicious! Close to the cabin, we enjoyed a great lunch at Everybody's Brewing (in White Salmon), Beneventi's (very tasty sandwiches and great service), and Mugs (both in Bingen) served an excellent breakfast with a great atmosphere! I would 1000% recommend this vacation rental to friends and relatives. We were so blessed to spend our vacation here and would love to return with extended family in the future! Thank you Debra and Connie for all of your help and thanks for sharing your lovely cabin with our family for a perfect vacation!

  I could not have been more happy with our weekend stay. The landscape and views of Debra's home were breathtaking! The perfect getaway for 7 ladies and 3 babies under one. The place was well equipped for all of our needs. Beautiful kitchen and bedrooms. Cozy beds. I am certain some of us will be contacting Debra in the future to rent again!! Thank you for an incredible weekend!

  The house was absolutely perfect for our Mothers Day get away. I went with my husband, toddler and grandparents and it was absolutely lovely! The house was open and beautifully decorated, but simple so you felt right at home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and very nice appliances. The deck was really nice morning, noon and night. And our son thoroughly enjoyed the enclosed trampoline, swing and sand box in the back yard. We will definitely come back to this oasis in the Gorge!

  I was in the Jacuzzi last night and was amazed that the clouds run right through your property and how amazing this hill is. We have been blessed to have been staying here and have enjoyed every day.

  Stayed here off-season for a girls' weekend. The property is gorgeous and the views are truly stunning. The house is beautifully appointed, very clean and very comfortable. Location is perfect, quiet enough to feel that you have escaped the city, but close enough to the town of Hood River to make it convenient. Spent the days hiking in the Gorge and evenings in nearby Hood River. Would love to return and try the whitewater rafting that is nearby. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Holiday Weekends: $450 per night/3 night minimum

Please ask about mid-week, "honeymoon" specials or last minute bookings.

Fees:

• Property Damage Protection: $49
• Cleaning Fee: $150 + tax
• Refundable Damage Deposit: $100
• Tax Rate 9.7%

Cancellation policy:

Above rates are based on a maximum of 8 adults. Please inquire about additional guests. PARTIES: No events, parties or gatherings of any kind are allowed with guests not included in the rental without prior approval of the owner. CANCELLATIONS: Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent unless the homeowner is able to re-rent the premises or advance cancellation is given as outlined below. REFUND POLICIES: • No refunds for shortened stays. • No refunds due to weather conditions. • Refund of total amount (-$50.00) for 30 day advance cancellation for October - May. • Refund of total amount (-$50.00) for 90-day advance cancellation for all Holidays and Peak Season Rental Months (June through September). • Refund of total amount (-$100.00) for cancellation (after 30-day or 90-day period, whichever is applicable) if property is re-rented. RENTALS DURING NOVEMBER THROUGH MARCH: The Gorge area (especially the I-84 corridor to Hood River) may have winter travel restrictions and advisories in effect resulting in road closures or the recommended or required use of chains/traction tires and/or four-wheel drive vehicles. It is a mountain property and the private driveway will be plowed as soon as reasonably possible should there be snow accumulation. Please note that the property does not currently have a caretaker although this is subject to change during the off-season rental months.
