Historic boathouse property and cottage rental located in the village of Skaneateles, NY. A quiet, 5 minute walk down beautiful west lake street to downtown area for restaurants and shopping.
Cottage contains master bedroom, with queen size bed, full bath, kitchen, living room and patio with table and chairs overlooking yard and lake. Boathouse has 2 twin beds upstairs, pullout couch down. Cottage is ideal for 2 adults, boathouse works for the kids - boathouse does not have running water, but is steps from the cottage.
A few steps away is the boathouse, with an oversize deck, overlooking the lake with a fantastic views of the north end of Skaneateles Lake and the village. Boathouse has 2-3 guest beds in a large up stair bedroom and a foldout couch downstairs. Downstairs is a large, open room with sitting area leading to the large deck overlooking the lake.
Skaneateles is located 15 minutes from the NY State Thruway and 30 minutes from the Syracuse (Hancock) airport, 50 minutes from Ithaca and an hour from Rochester, NY. Located in the heart of the finger lakes region, a day trip to all of the finger lakes and extensive wine region.
